    Anybody but Mitt.

Again my electoral vote in Texas is going to Mitt so I think I'll make a little 1/50 millionth protest vote for a third party, Jill Stein if she makes our ballot.

I'm voting for Romney, not because I love Romney, but I think Obama is clueless. I really want to reduce the deficit, but raising taxes for the highest earners isn't going to get us there.

I'm not saying Obama is right for this country, I just know Romney is wrong. He and Ryan will set us back in so many ways. A win for them rationalizes the current approach of the Republican party: scream at the top of your lungs bull$**** and hope you're the loudest. What that side has done to political discourse in the last 4 years is astounding. There is no compromise, just anger, racism, and bigotry. A vote for Romney not only preserves that strategy, it encourages it. Maybe if they lose, maybe just maybe they will actually campaign to moderates and fix their broken ways...

Umm raising taxes for the highest earners will get you closer to reducing the deficit than lowering them.

And yet again, I'm at a complete loss as why folks seem to think removing money from the private sector is helpful to anyone right now. It neither induces consumer demand, nor does it spur private investment and economic production.

The only argument I've seen offered on this board is that somehow the uncertainty of how the national debt will get paid off is filtering into the day-to-day hiring decisions of small business owners. It's quite possibly the most ludicrous argument I've ever heard...choosing not to hire someone who can foreseeably increase your profits because you're wringing your hands over potential new taxes and the size of the national debt.

They not only have to lose, they have to get utterly decimated in the polls.

Not if you buy into the GOP bull**** that states that lower taxes will encourage the rich to invest in the country more.

Someone else (Gary Johnson). Too bad all of the someone else's won't have a chance to get on the debate stage.

Huntsman, Ron Paul, or '08 Obama would have been acceptable choices for me also.

I will hold my nose and vote for Romney. I sincerely hope he holds true on the social issues I support as he is a known flip flopper. Obama has been absolutely terrible for this country. He has an insane energy policy and has no regard for the deficit. He is only interested in class warfare. He is the most divisive President I have ever seen. Even when they had a super majority the Democrats failed to pass a budget worrying only with cramming Obamacare down our throats whether we wanted it or not. The thought of Obama having four more years without having to worry about re-election is absolutely terrifying. This country can't survive another four years.:(

I also look at the Supreme Court and possible appointments. If Obama wins killings babies will remain legal forever.

I'll wait and see if California is in play close to the election. If it is, Romney, if it isn't probably a write in or 3rd party.

I am voting for myself. I listen to both the Republicans and Democrats and am convinced I am the only person I trust with the job.:eek:
