I have a feeling Laurent Robinson will be a complete bust.

I do too. I think there are much better options around his ADP. Mostly because I have no faith in Jacksonville to produce numbers for a WR. I think Blackmon at his ADP is of better value.

Draft #2. 10 team league. Yahoo standard scoring.

    1. (8) Matthew Stafford QB
    2. (13) Matt Forte RB
    3. (28) A.J. Green WR
    4. (33) Ryan Mathews RB
    5. (48) Marques Colston WR
    6. (53) Darren Sproles RB
    7. (68) BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB
    8. (73) Dwayne Bowe WR
    9. (88) Stevie Johnson WR
    10. (93) Jay Cutler QB
    11. (108) Detroit DEF
    12. (113) Michael Bush RB
    13. (128) Denarius Moore WR
    14. (133) Matt Prater K

I had a chance in round 3 to get Adrian Peterson, but his knee scares me a lot. Might end up regretting that one big time. But luckily I got some pretty good RB pickups in the later rounds. Wanted RG3 as my backup, but he got sniped right before I picked Cutler :(

Other than the fact that you choose to pick up a backup qb in the 11th round I think you did pretty well. If I were you, I'd have probably went with another wr to fill out your roster, maybe a guy like kenny britt (which is a flyer).

You handcuffed Forte which was a pretty good move, so I can tell you know a little something about fantasy football, by your picks.

If I didn't take Cutler there, I would've ended up stuck with Freeman or Dalton as my backup, and that's a terrifying prospect when you've got captain clavicle as your starter. The funny thing is I was targeting Bush, Moore, and Detroit when I took Cutler, and I still managed to get them all. Britt got taken a few spots after Cutler, which might be a good sleeper, but once Locker got named the starter, I backed off the Titans receivers.

Locker has a way better arm than Hasslebeck

    Here is my team:

Thoughts? Come week one, who are most disposable to pick up a K and DEF?

10 team yahoo pro money league.

    5th pick.

    (1) WR Calvin Johnson
    (2) RB Ryan Mathews
    (3) WR Victor Cruz
    (4) RB Fred Jackson
    (5) QB Michael Vick
    (6) WR Dez Bryant
    (7) RB Donald Brown
    (8) TE Fred Davis
    (9) QB Robert Griffin III
    (10) WR Darrius Heyward-Bey
    (11) RB Cedric Benson
    (12) WR Kenny Britt
    (13) TE Jared Cook
    (14) Green Bay DST
    (15) PK Garrett Hartley

    QB: Vick / RG3
    HB: Mathews/F.Jackson/D.Brown/C.Benson
    WR: Megatron/Cruz/D.Bryant/Heyward-Bey/Britt
    TE: Davis/Cook

Overall I'm ok with this. These yahoo money leagues are definitely competitive if anyone was wondering.

I was really pissed about having to take Fred Davis because I wanted Reggie Wayne or Blackmon, but they were both taken with the 2 picks ahead of me. Also wanted Stevan Ridley but he was picked right before me and I had to settle for Benson.

I have injury concerns at QB and RB but I like my starting WRs. Wanted better depth then what I ended up with, but overall I think if i get lucky this team can dominate.

I can't say if you did bad or good on this draft. I'm kinda on the fence with it.

What really jumps out to me is that you took donald brown really high. I am also not a big fan of RGIII or Cedric Bensen this year.

I will say that I like the fred bavis pickup despite the fact that you don't like it, and I think that he and Jared Cook will give you great production at the position. Your receivers are solid, but your rb core is a little thin for my taste.

We have 3 W/T spots. TEs are effectively classified as WRs in our league.

    10-team auction league

    QB: Philip Rivers, Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB: LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, James Starks, Mike Goodson
WR: Hakeem Nicks, Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd, Lance Moore, Mario Manningham, Mike Williams, Nate Burleson
    TE: Rob Gronkowski
    D/ST: Lions
    K: Robbie Gould

Very top heavy roster, very Patriots dependent. I'm going to have to make some moves.

Dang Mathews slipped super far. Most mock drafts I've been doing and pre-rankings have him going around 13-17. If he stays healthy you can probably win your league. I like the AJ Green pick. I think he's gonna have a huge season.

Had a really weird draft with some friends. ESPN pay league (I hate ESPN).

The settings are skewed in such a way to heavily favor the quarterback. I had the 7th pick and was praying to land Brees. Didn't happen. I passed on Stafford and Graham when I saw the high ceiling players available staring me in the face.

It's a PPR with an absurd bonus modifier that allots like 5pts for 300yd passing games, more pts for 400yd passing games, 5pts for 150yd receiving/rushing games, etc... passing TD's are 6pts. Just a stupid scoring format man.

Anyways, here's my team. Keep in mind the scoring format is whack and my opponents for the most part seem like they're either newbs or geniuses because they drafted based on these odd settings.

    What do y'alll think?

Also, here are the only 2 teams I strongly feel could be better than mine

Actually this team is solid too.

If there was a flex spot I'd crush people. Thinking about dropping one of my high ceiling WR's to hog MJD's backup or high ceiling TE. If Ryan doesn't explode I really don't have a great shot IMO.

I'm not big on carrying backup QBs, but Cutler may be a great value. Finally having a real receiver, especially one he knows may pay big dividends. Throw in having Stafford calls for a decent backup, and I think it works well.

Nice team, but Witten's spleen scares the **** out of me. I avoided him in all leagues for that reason alone. Hope you can find a backup TE just in case.
