Thus ends the "revolutionizing" of the QB position as we know it. Oh well. Hopefully some Longhorn alumnus gives him a good job in Austin. I wish him well in his post-NFL career.
Of the big 3 in that draft, I'd say Reggie Bush has had the best career so far with Mario a close 2nd.
What? Bush has only rushed for over 1000 yards once and he barely did it. In terms of his hype, Bush is one of the biggest Busts in the last 10 years if not the biggest. He was the next Barry Sanders. The Texans were heckled across all of Sports Media for not picking him up. Mario is a multi year pro-bowler and just picked up the richest contract for a defensive player ever.
Bush has had the better team spotlight career no doubt. Mario the better individual career. Mario was on pace for 16 sacks last year before he got hurt. If he played every game in his career, 4 of his 6 years would be double digit sacks, and one of the off years he had 9 sacks. 2 Pro Bowls Reggie Bush NOW is okay. Overall barely better than Darren Sproles. No Pro Bowls (1 Sporting News All Pro team as returner) Vince Young has even went to 2 Pro Bowls and was offensive Rookie of the Year over Bush. (Well, it worked. You probably don't even believe that) I don't hate Reggie Bush either. I have him on my fantasy team and live in USC country.
I don't know anything about football nor I don't follow it, but I read this as "...on pace for 16 secks" and was I need to put down the pr0n for a bit and go outside.

No I'm not trolling. Bush has had a damn good career. Look at his numbers. Granted he wasn't Barry Sanders but he's had a damn good career and is currently a starting running back at the moment.
Mario Williams got a 100 million dollar contract. So if bush was so great do you think he wouldn't have got a contract at least half the size?
oh god, not the Bush/Young/Williams argument again. can we all just agree that VY sucks? awesome thread btw. lmao.
Reggie Bush - 2 year $10 million Mario Williams - 6 year $100 million Really no comparison on who the NFL thinks is better.
And in the end, Cutler ends up being the best QB from that draft...Bud shoulda drafted the Vandy guy.
How funny is it that David Carr still has an NFL job and Vince Dumb doesn't? And I'll bet that Jeff Fisher is LHAO this morning. And for the record, Reggie Bush hasn't had anything approaching a "damn good career". He's had a stunningly mediocre career at best and that's only based on last season. Accounting for his draft position, his career has been a bust.
