How do you feel about this acronym? Does it make you rage? Are you indifferent to it? Or do you say it before you do anything?
It's pretty dumb. I haven't heard it too much, so it's not so bad. It was popular around my high school, actually, my junior and senior year - so like 7 or 8 years ago. Weird it's coming back...
In terms of the actual phrase, what I don't get is that if you only live once, shouldn't one want to avoid doing stupid ass ***** that may in many cases serve to reduce one's life expectancy? I understand the idea of making the most of life, but shouldn't the other side of the coin be having a sense of self-preservation, to enable you to live life to the fullest now, and for many years in the future? Anyway, in practice it's just something people use to justify being impulsive dumbasses.
I've never heard of that phrase being made into that acronym. Only came across it recently, so I thought it was new. I don't think much of it.
In a manner that "kinda" makes sense: "I'm going bunjee jumping. YOLO!" The way teens use it today: "I'm pregnant. YOLO!"

It's a useless phrase, but I don't think I've ever heard someone say it in person so it doesn't really bother me.
It's an excuse to be and/or act stupid. Live fast, die young, is what it is... Married with children and 10 tats by 21.
You asked a simple question... boy, don't say "what!?!" You Only Live Once and you call it "in hell." Policemen try to take you to jail. You can give a man time, but you don't know. In a matter of time, I'll be running the show.
I'm not too hot on the acronym itself, but the saying I am. After seeing loved ones pass away too soon/young, it's one of the first things I thought. I don't take it to mean live life recklessly, just to enjoy life. Find a good balance of things, and as they all say, work to live, not the other way around.
