Yeah my roommate was able to keep playing after it got renamed then it kicked him out around 12:20. Told him he would have to buy it.
so... it worth the $15? really surprised its so low, valve kicks ass. i mean its cheaper than css right now. any new maps at all? i liked 1.6 over css if that matters.
Its closer to 1.6 than CSS. There are some new weapons and imo its a lot easier than 1.6 and CSS for some reason. Its definitely worth it in my opinion.
There's several new maps and there's updated versions of the old ones. There were several new maps found in the game files, but we haven't seen them yet. I'm guessing they're going to be DLC or something. As for it being worth $15...I paid $60 for my beta key back in march and feel I've more than gotten my money's worth.
Its ok, feels too much like source. We should get a scrim going 5v5 with the members from the clutchfans group!
I've played in competitive leagues several years before. I got the game despite the poor performance on my PC; planning to upgrade very soon.
I do; sort of. I paid for it about a week ago and it's still not quite up and running. Several different issues -- if they don't resolve them quickly I'm getting a different provider.
so i d/l cs: go but found out my computer doesn't have the latest graphic card. i request a refund, steam gives me credit to their site. what should i buy? *sigh*
Kick in another $10 and buy The Walking Dead; you'll thank me later. You can play episodes 1 and 2 now, 3-5 will be out soon.
I would be down for a scrim anytime... or at least if we can get 5 just team up and play against others.
Also I noticed that they have taken out buy commands entirely and just recently removed cl_dynamiccrosshair. I really liked this setting but now have to get used to a moving crosshair all the time.
Both of these are incorrect. You can buy things via console if you like, or even set up buy binds. I believe "cl_dynamiccrosshair" has been replaced with "cl_crosshairstyle", but in either case you can set whether it is dynamic or static in your game options. Rather than just turn dynamics on or off it's now a pre-set ; classic static, classic dynamic, default static, or default dynamic. Most of the good players use classic static in my experience. Some people like the new crosshair, but I feel like there is too much going on.
Penny Arcade on the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 3 is like $5 I think. Cool game if you like RPGs / Penny Arcade.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive for $14.99 or Counter Strike: Complete for $29.99 - Counter Strike (1.6) - Counter Strike: Condition Zero - Counter Strike: Source - Counter Strike: Global Offensive
Yeah, but -- 1.6 is basically dead, CZ is terrible, and Source is inferior to Global Offensive. Unless you're one of the dudes still stuck on 1.6 there's really no point in buying any other version.
