Starting offense did well for the most part. Fumbles and right side of the line are a concern. Defense and backups didn't look good. Run defense hasn't looked particularly good for most of the preseason.

No Watt and Cody will do that

    That'll do it.

    Good job, good effort.

I hope they never miss a play the whole season then.

Saints controlled the line of scrimmage which was disappointing. Our lines got pushed around. We are missing players, but there is still reason for concern. I think Graham is our kicker.

Based on performance, I'd give the job to Graham too, but how much is spending a 5th rounder on Bullock going to factor into the decision?

No doubt Bullock will be the kicker since he was a 5th rounder. Shayne Graham is having a great preseason however. If Bullock struggles and Graham is a free agent, no doubt they will make that move.

    Bullock will be IRed

    Posey, where is he?

Can they get away with practice squad with him, will he too be IRed, active roster, I know they aren't cutting a 4th rounder, what happens?

**(Start with something positive. Your QB(Schaub) looks sharp.): He did. Numbers are right there to look at but he was sharp in his decision making, everything he did.

**(Looking for better production out of ground game?): Yeah, I wanted to throw in this game. I planned on splitting Arian and Ben but Ben got nicked up on us. We've run the ball well in camp.

**(Martin and Holliday took a step back tonight.): It's disappointing but shows how young they are. It can't happen. They're making plays but that can't happen.

**Andre is fine. X-rays are fine. Chris is doing well too. We're staring at 15 days here before Miami. My goal is to play the young guys and condition the older guys for Miami.

**(Wind knocked out?): Yeah, my understanding. I had a play count on him. I wanted him to play 22-25 plays. He's looked good this last 2 weeks.

**(Evaluate T.J.?): T.J. can play better than he's played but we can also help him play better. I'll always put it on the QB. T.J. has had a good camp. Things he can do better and I know he'll work on it.

**(Cuts upcoming): Tomorrow, we have to get down to 75. A lot of things to do than just play Minnesota that's important to this team.

Newton was getting beat a lot out there, which makes me concerned because if he is beating Butler in practice WTF can we do in the regular season with either one of them? They are letting guys pressure Schaub and not helping our running game at all.

Defense, I will chalk up to Wade not showing his hand and the loss of Cody, Cushing and Watt in the middle. That being said, New Orleans TE Graham, abused us all game long. I was so sick of him I wanted to punch him myself because every play you could just tell he was talking smack.

Yates was 'ehhh'. Didn't really impress. Had 4 sacks(won't put the blame fully on him.)(5 sacks tonight.)

Not the best night for Martin or Holliday. Holliday was iffy. Not ready to throw him off the boat just yet :p and not quite a lock for the roster, I don't think. 4 fumbles between Holliday and Martin. Never a good thing.

Feel like I left tonight with more questions than answers/solutions at the right tackle spot.

I'd say Graham has a slight edge at kicker but will he get the job in the end? I don't know.

    Kareem. :(

wasnt hurt, just was sore. When your as important as Andre is to this teams success you take all the precaution in the world.. We know what 'Dre is capable of no need to loose him in a meaningless game..

SonofBum also ran base defense all night. He is learning his team and creating a master plan for season.

Saints played all out. They blitz everyone on numerous plays and used many packages and play calls that they would normally only use in season. Coach showed his hand. This will hurt them later on.

Texans held back and played safe trying to avoid injury from a reckless Saints defense. I have watched a lot of football and the Saints are probably the most reckless team I have ever watched. The play like a drunk person would fight, swinging cheap haymakers hoping to land but leaving themselves completely open to a whoopin by a controlled team that takes what you will give them. Tonight we lost because of some of our inexperienced players trying to react to Saints style of play instead of responding. Fumbles where a direct result of trying to do too much when control would have won us that game by halftime.

So did Graham just win the job? He has been flawless thus far. 53 yarder right down he middle with room to spare. Or will 5th round pick and Aggie brotherhood be enough for Bullock to win the job?

Was it me or was the first half 2 hours because of the 5 turnovers?

Why mess with a WR reverse when everyone not on the O line can catch the ball? I'm also nervous that AJ will have trouble getting separation from CBs this year, hopefully it's rust.

Just watched the second half. Wow, Yates was getting killed. We have no OL depth.
