Libs getting desperate to push this false meme of the war on women. I can't imagine any Republican woman voting for the most partisan and divisive liberal President we've ever seen. Obama's failed economic policies are totally repulsive to women everywhere. Whether Sandra Fluke gets free contraceptives or not is not top of mind for Republican women. Sorry.

There are far, far more 2008 Obama voters going for Romney this time around. Four years of failure and pathetic leadership has turned the tide for these voters.

I cannot believe people like Basso and T_J are actually not trolls, but actually believe Obama has done a poor job, and that any one of their leaders can do anything but screw up this country morally and financially worse than Bush did.

They are trolls yes but they are able to believe what they believe because they are moderately gifted 'pataphysicians as are the rest of their party.

'Pataphysics, by the way, is "the science of imaginary solutions," created by the absurdist that predated absurdism, Alfred Jarry. Here's how it works:

Don't like the facts? Imagine other ones. Presto change-o, no more global warming! Obama caused the poor economy! Women's bodies know how to reject rape sperm!

They believe that they, like The Roadrunner, can while being chased and running into the dead end of a mountain, simply pull out a piece of chalk and draw a tunnel to escape through. I mean they call it other things, like supply-side economics, but it's all 'pataphysics in the end.

If you had left it at "most divisive liberal" I suppose you might have a case, but in saying that he's also the most partisan, you're effectively stating that he's the most liberal President in history. This is a statement that's oft-repeated, but drastically conflicts with my understanding of the administrations of Jimmy Carter, LBJ, FDR and Woodrow Wilson, to name a few.

Though I thought myself somewhat well-read on the subject of American Political History (if not the current political climate), apparently not. Please educate me, providing citations if you'd be so kind.

Every election year you always have some of this. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Batman, you have arguably the worst track record of treating women poorly on this BBS. I find it hilarious that you chime in on this thread!

Young boy, let me set you straight:

Obama has been an absolute nightmare for this economy:

    - Record budget deficits (as in 4x the previous record)
    - Never once passed a budget (no leadership)
    - First President in history to demonize private businesses (healthcare industry, energy industry, and financial services industry)
    - Largest tax increase in history with Obamacare and attempted largest tax increase in history with Cap and Trade
    - Largest regulatory burden increase in history with Obamacare
    - Had his own campaign operatives organizing an anti-capitalism movement in Occupy Wall Street (!)
    - Billions of dollars wasted in green energy scams

I could go on and on. The man simply is in over his head. He doesn't understand business and he lacks leadership skills. He had his chance and he failed. It's time for a change. Romney is a proven leader, a business icon, and just. gets. things. done. He's just what we need right now, and he would restore confidence to the markets and to the country. Four more years of Obama just means more division and more gridlock. There's no way he can run the country after his scorch the earth campaign that he has run.

I am sure you would have said the same thing in 1976, 1992, 1996 and 2008 ... Your rhetoric is as stale as the GOP platform.

Odd, Trader_J, that I missed this alleged "track record" of treating women poorly. I think you have him confused with someone else. Giddyup, perhaps?

Wow...so you are essentially saying that any woman who disagrees with you on the abortion issue is a moron. That is just plain dumb on so many levels.

There are plenty of Muslim women who believe women should not have the right to vote or drive a car. They believe they should obey the wishes of their husband, are they morons or not.
