isnt miami going to run a no huddle offense this year with philbin coming over from GB??? If so....honestly all the QB has to do is manage the game decently, they have a solid core of RB...daniel thomas,Reggie Bush, and rookie lamar miller who shoulda been a first rounder are more than enough firepower. All I'm saying it take off the fan goggles for a second

1.Philbin ran Green Bay's Stud Offense

    2.3 Stud Running backs

    3. a pretty decent defense(vontae davis and cameron wake are pro bowl caliber players too)

4.Tannehill will be on the road, but I Imagine he'll have 100+ friends and family + other aggies in attendance....this is literally the best case scenario road game for him besides cowboy stadium

    5. Ive gambled for many years and if it was a sure thing, line would be -13+ not -9, the -9 line often is a killer bc many people toss it into the 13 pt teasers at +4 and end up getting burned...just speaking from experience....even last season....

    (2) -13 games were losers and that almost never happens......saints@ qb-less rams coming off 61 pt outburst.....and packers @ chiefs starting 3rd string qb.......so dont ever say never in the NFL there are seriously no sure things if the rams with AJ feeley can destroy the saints clicking on all cylinders coming off a 61 pt thrashing on sunday night football.

Three STUD running backs huh? Since all 3 of them have proven their worthiness of that title on the field? Reggie Bush did well last year, but throwing Lamar Miller in there? Come on.

I'm not sure where you gobbled up all of this garbage from... but Miami sucks PLAIN AND SIMPLE. They might be the worst team in the league.

he's just hedging his bets. Clear gambling addict. If Texans cover so what they were supposed to do it. If it's close or Dolphins win you won't hear the end of it from him.

I hope your kidding about miami sucking? They're pretty solid man....take off your texans fanboy goggles for a second

    1. Dont forgot that even though are defense is awesome....they have an awesome O-line....Jake Long,Pouncey are beasts and jonathan martin is 1st round talent that fell to I think #40 in the draft and guard eric steinbach i think was a pro bowler once. So to say Tannehill is protected is an understatement.

    - Daniel Thomas is a great pounder and Reggie Bush is a deadly rb when you talk about the pocket falling apart and him getting a ball dumped off to him.....Lamar Miller isn't a household name, but he was probably the 2nd best rb in the draft after richardson and could have easily gone in the top 20......he's super explosive

3.Look at these games Miami lost last year
    - @ New England last year by 3!!!!
    -@ Dallas by 1!!!!
-@ super bowl champion giants by 3!!!!!
    - denver by 3
    -cleveland by 1

so a couple balls bounce the right way they were 10 or 11 win playoff team....you guys are throwing them aside like theyre the freaking 0-16 detroit lions from a few years back, this was a team that was in about 75% of their games.....but yes when they lost they lost by 10+ 5 games

4.Youre right the offense has no good WR, but solid ground game, solid o-line led by 4 talented lineman, and a solid kicker in carpenter, and this isnt exactly a hapless team on any given sunday. Am I saying they're gonna upset us? I doubt it.....but I'm saying this is not a team you just look over and say easy W bc if that was the case line would be -13+

In the past, these are the kind of games the Texans lose. Kubes comes out foggy, the team starts fumbling the ball, Schaub can't get the jersey colors right, and the game hangs on a missed field goal. Those were the dark days. The New Texans should come out and put this one to bed by the half. Kenum should be playing by the fourth. Crush the fish.

They're not THE worst team in the league, but they're bottom 1/3 for sure. Might be bottom 5.

They are nowhere near as good as they were last year. No Marshall, rookie QB, switching defense to 4-3. New coaching. Can Philbin use a Reggie Bush as well as Sporano? Let's look at some of those losses.
NE- AFC East games are always competitive and usually high scoring, I guess the Bills and the Dolphins look to them like their super bowls.
DenverIt was in Miami and they were honoring Tebow, Meyer, etc for their 2009 BCS title. Of course Denver Tebow was gonna win it last minute.
ClevelandIt took 2 great touchdowns from Mossaquoi and Cribbs but the Browns were bottom 5 against the run last year and D.Thomas hit 4.1 ypc. No excuses when you lose to the factory of sadness.

This could apply for every team, if some balls bounced the right way, texans would have 13-14 wins last year (oakland game, and the last 3 games)
If the cowboys would have got some balls bounced their way they could had 11 wins, and the giants would have been eliminated, and never had a championship last year, in 2009 if the texans win one more game, they would have enter the playoffs that year, so you got to make the ball bounce your way.

and you talk about stud RBs? Daniel Thomas only scored 1 rec TD and 0 running TD.

Ben Tate been the 2nd rb for almost all the season, got similar to Reggie Bush.

You want to talk about stud RBs, talk about foster and ben tate.
