How well would an "All-White" Rockets line-up fare?

    Following the NBA off-season I've found the Timberpups infatuation with White players kind of peculiar, but I just noticed that it is now plausible that the Rockets may often run an "All-White" Line-up of our own.

    Of course, unlike in the case of the Timberpups I think ours would be entirely by coincidence.

    - If Kevin Martin is traded for better fitting parts it's likely Carlos Delfino will start at SG given McHale's preference for proven vets (really, every coach in the league prefers vets)

    - D-Mo looks to have a solid offensive arsenal and has been seasoned in competitive play overseas and should theoretically be a nice complement to Asik at the PF position

    It's plausible we could see a line-up of

    Jeremy Lin

    Carlos Delfino
    [​IMG]

    Chandler Parsons
    [​IMG]

    Donatas Motiejunas
    [​IMG]

    Omer Asik
    [​IMG]

    being featured with consistent minutes.

    If that became our starting line-up how do you think it would fare relative to the rest of the league, and if it enjoyed any success do you think there would be commentary describing the evolving face of the NBA and how interesting it is that a franchise features a line-up comprised of sporting minorities?

    Chandler Parsons is the only white guy there. The rest are Asians or Euros.

    Sarcasm? No offense but I see so much fail here. (Or am I just being too serious?)

    1. So by your logic, Euros are not white?
    2. Delfino is from Argentina. He played in Europe but that didn't make him a Euro.
    3. Asik is from Turkey, where 97% of the territory lies in Asia. It's arguable whether a Turk is a Euro but Turkey isn't even a EU member.
    4. I would say the only Euro here is DMo. Asik is arguable. Delfino is Latino but some may consider him white.

    Correct me if I am wrong.

    Dude this is so wrong, don't spread this kind of misinformation. Honestly I'm sickened that you would say something like this. Parsons is black, not white, because he is athletic.

    this has to be one of the all-time dumbest threads i've ever seen in the BBS. Another example of why newbies should not be allowed to create threads. if i got off on stupidness, my keyboard would be sticky.

    I find it very ironic that the first picture of a player in your post is:

    1. the biggest one in size compared to the other pictures
    2. is of a player that is not white, but asian

    Thread reeks of putrid failure.
