I think they match up pretty well with the Lakeshow. We won't see it til late in the season, though.
Also, we already have a good match up at the 4 seeing as Pau is on the decline and i think Parsons should guard Kobe like he did last season. The more you make Kobe work, the better chance you have at beating the Lakers.
The two big questions will be at PG and C.

Pau is on the decline? Really. He didn't play like a man on the decline during the Olympics.

For those who think Asik matches up with with Dwight didn't see this... Nothing in the video shows me Asik is giving Dwight a hard time...

It's really too bad powder puff gasol doesn't have the guts to stand up to kobe and demand the ball. PG is one of the most sadly under-utilized 7'2" guys in assoc. history.

Gasol's motivation, focus and aggression are a constant question mark. Apparently, he's been pauting ever since the break up with his fiance for instance.

I actually think they will win at least one of the games against the Lakers this upcoming season.

I like the positivity even if it is a little overambitious.

Winning a game or two against the Lakeshow would not be that surprising. Last year we gave LAL and OKC a hard time. That didn't mean we were better than those teams.

We match up well with them.

Their starting lineup consists of a center, a power forward, a small forward, a shooting guard and a point guard.

    So does ours.

One dunk lol. I am not saying that Asik matches up well against Howard but it is silly to use one dunk against Omer as evidence that Asik can't hold his own. Also Omer contested that dunk, a lot of other centres in the NBA wouldn't have even tried. That is the thing I love about Omer, he always contests the shot, he never steps away from the poster where other centers would. I think Omer is remarkably underrated and I think he will surprise a lot of people next season. On the defensive end he does a lot of things amazingly well.

Round 1 fight! Houston rockets will get murdered. Look at those muscles on the lakers. Even steve nash has more muscles than jeremy lin. Need to start hitting that weight room

Not every superteam formation works. Lakes tried it with GP and Malone, that didn't work out. Rocks tried it with clyde, dream and charles, that didn't work out.

Likewise, Oldbe and Nash are on the downside of their careers. This is far from a sure thing.
