My pick has to be John Wall. The kid's shown flashes of being a star and has has been putting great assists numbers with a subpar team. I think his scoring and assists go up another notch and is contending for an All-Star bid this season. The other 2 possibilities I have are Stephen Curry and potentially Derrick Favors
if an already very good player has a slightly better season, finally gets deserved attention and becomes an All Star, does it count? If so, then Greg Monroe. Also, talking about the Pistons, Brandon Knight should be awesome. With his work ethic, he's bound to make another huge step. I think he'll get mentioned among top 10 points after the next season. Curry also seems a great bet. Other than that... JJ Hickson maybe? Leonard Meyers is extremely raw, so Aldridge will play at 5 probably most of the time. And Hickson will get 30+ minutes per game at PF. On a very solid team. And he looked good last year for the Blazers. I think this will be his best season by far. A legit, efficient 16-9 on efficient scoring.
I was honestly debating about adding him, but I still think he's not going to immediately turn it up another huge not this season. Maybe he will next season, but not this coming season.
