Tackles aren't worth more but solo tackles and assisted tackles account for most of the regular defensive points. Tackles = consistency. Babin who had 18 sacks was a 2nd tier DE. The thing is, if they get 4 sacks in one game or 2 INT's you'll score big. You'll have to think about players going off and putting up a lot of points vs ones that always perform consistently. That's why a guy like Patrick Willis who had a game 2 years ago where he had like 15 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries are special. They perform consistently AND sprinkle in a few dominating performances in between.
Right, that's what I was attempting to get out. Instead of having a cover corner that maybe tallies 6-8 INTs a season and doesn't really help with consistent tackles won't be as coveted. Say for instance a Deion Sanders if he were still around wouldn't be as valued in our league. Thanks for the explanation Zigs.
30 return yards = 1 point. Kind of hard to find the scoring rules but you go to League > Rules, then there is a little box under that says "Scoring rules" which brings up positions, click on QB, WR, RB from there, etc.
Oh I see what happened now. I clicked the tab but all I saw was the positions with nothing showing below, thought maybe the system was actin quirky or some ****. Thanks again for the ayuda fellas.
DAMNIT MOES SHUT UP! Ugh. Fade, Smeg, sent my pick through email. I have a 6am meeting and have to get some beauty rest for my beast of a weekend doing absolutely NOTHING for once.
Damn the last two guys off the board I was literally thinking that would be the two I would take... What are the odds that both are taken back to back..(McCarthy and Gerhart) Oh well. Morgan Burnett DB GB
I had Patrick Peterson last year. He actually did more in the return game than I have anticipated. He still probably wasn't worth a roster spot in the end.
