    There was, in theory, a secret world in the military, where gay guys were everywhere. We had to watch hours of videos and sit through hours of classes to teach us to be nice to gay people because when DADT was repealed, they would be flooding out into the open like a dam breaking.

    I spent 6 years in, and still have never met one single gay person.

    I think that 10% is bull****, I would guess more like 3%-5%

    I've heard gay people are usually more financially stable. Is it because they get to choose whether they have an expense such as a kid?

    Not at all, arkoe. However, there's obviously more "choice" involved with a gay couple. With a straight couple, condoms break, pulling out doesn't always work, etc. Sure, there's abotion, but not everyone believes in such.

    Exactly. I read (though don't post in) a lot of figure skating boards. Those demographics would be different. Majority straight women, large minority gay men, occasional gay women or straight men. Not the same as a basketball audience, particularly where the men are concerned.
