Most of these people crying about a "socialist state" don't really know what a socialist state is.

I love when you do this. I already had your post in "Call To Arms" thread reserved for when your bold predictions fall flat.

are we not supposed to react when elected officials and party newsletters predict Civil War and instruct their citizens to prepare for an armed revolt (race riot)?

I know history quite well and the US isn't anywhere close to being a socialist state.

Did you take American history? Do you know why we have all social welfare programs we have?

I'd argue with you on this, but it's probably not going to change your mind, right?

No problem. I love it too when I "do this". But I, unlike you, will not note your post to throw it in your face later. That's your style not mine.

    Right.

I was born in an apolitical family without religion. Everything I am is because of my effort to understand. And with that understanding I've become a conservative and a Christian with a strong belief in science.

    I've done my homework, Max.

Take history as in going to school for a higher education? Nope. Barely got out of high school. Does that make me any less credible?

Or do I have to list all the books I've read on the subject of American history. Or do I have to list all the other countries I've lived in and how I compared governments to ours? Or do I have to tell you how when I first came to the US as a 17 yr old and was floored by the arrogance and ignorance of my peers, I decided to be more than just a person living in America.

Yes, I'm aware of the social programs that the US initiated. I'm sure you heard the expression, "give them dime and they'll want the whole dollar". Well, that is exactly how I feel now. They will keep on b****ing and crying until they get what they want. That is what I see. That is what I've experienced. That IS THE TREND.

And if you can't see it, then there is nothing I can do or say.

Not only that, you were asked about your knowledge of the history of the programs and why we have them, you respond with your "feelings" and a saying (that I'm pretty sure isn't even a saying).

    then a big FU, jack.

Assbites like you make me sick. I don't belittle anyone who gets the opportunity for college, in fact I'm happy for them.

But when higher education spits out people like you who degrade the uneducated and suggest they have no opinion worth it's weight, well, you give educated people a black eye.

I might not be a wordsmith with a glorious memory, but I know what I am and I know what I see.

What you have shown is that you have absolutely no ability to control your emotions or quite frankly read. You asked if not completing highschool damaged your credibility for not knowing/understanding US policy...the answer is a resounding "YES", sorry if that hurts your feelings. Go ahead and show me where I belittled you for your lack of education please. I'll wait right here, kthnxbai.

    Yes.

Sadly, your posts indicate that you should have stayed in school. :(

At the minimum, I would suggest taking a Critical Thinking class at a local community college. It usually does not have any pre-requisites.

eh...Yay? Why would anyone belittle someone who gets an opportunity for college and makes most of it???

Wisdom is being open to the idea that you're not always right...that the world isn't nearly as black and white as you think it is.
