Your point is that the other players are superior NOW. Impossible to substantiate since your data is outdated and as I've pointed out at least FIVE TIMES already, you don't know what's measured or how.
Each ACL injury is different. We won't know for certain until he's (rose) back on the court. I have no data about Baron's vertical before and after his ACL injury. He may have lost a bit, he may not have. The data isn't there for me to say one way or the other.
We've been comparing photos for the past several pages. I use Westbrook's published height and recorded max and best case dunks, to photos of Lin dunking. In both cases, top of the head is around 10" under the rim, perhaps a bit less. Go through the photos yourself and decide.
Both of these guys are listed at 6'3" and at max height, tops of their heads appear to be at the same level relative to the rim. This suggests their max verts are identical, or very close to it. Seems like a reasonable assertion to me.
Nice try, troll. Get some evidence and save yourself first. Any info on what "agility" means yet? I didn't think so.
If someone posted a video interview of Lin himself saying that Westbrook and Rose were superior athletes you still wouldn't agree. No point in arguing with you.
You are right. My data only shows that Lin was an inferior athlete. BUT, this is the only hard evidence that is available. Everything else you have pointed to is conjecture. You rely on an assumption that Lin is the only one that improves over the offseason. This is just plain dumb. As for the BAM scores, the BAM evaluation method is proprietary information so you won't find it. BUT, BAM has done the NBA Draft Combine (4 straight years), the Portsmouth, and countless other scouting events. It is their business to provide reliable information to NBA teams. If NBA teams can rely on their information I don't see why you, a random NBA fan, cannot. Basically, it comes down to fact that we only have hard data that Lin was inferior. Everything else is some version of an "eye test." You look at photos and try to extrapolate his vertical. You see Westbrook or Rose exploding for a dunk. None of this is convincing to me. In fact, relying on eye test alone most people will tell you that Wall, Westbrook Rose, etc. are the far superior athletes. I have yet to see you post any actual evidence. You point to everyone else saying we don't have current evidence, but you fail to even provide a signal shred of evidence, outdated or not.
Your using pictures to support your assertions. That isn't the strongest evidence. May just be best to agree to disagree. I do know that Lin's athleticism is underrated but I disagree that it is elite like Rose Russ and Wall unless I see hard evidence that isn't pictures.
Lol. No I don't ignore people, it is always refreshing hearing other's opinions even if you think them farfetched. I always chuckled at Sigmunds posts.
Lin himself said he isn't a freak athlete. Rose, Wall, Russ are on a different level than a lot of players in the NBA.
I try to streamline my forum experiences by ignore-listing the posters that I consider highly unlikely to post insightful things. To even chuckle at Sigmund's posts..You're a greater man (lady?) than me.
Lol. I never took sigmund seriously. I had been lurking for a while before I signed up and it was hilarious reading the stupid **** he said because it really was stupid. Particularly when they found his youtube account I believe and he was some like 16 year old kid or something like that. I was chuckling pretty hard. But anyway, I totally understand putting people on your ignore list. I come here to talk basketball and if people are taking away from that end goal I totally understand blocking them.

Steve Nash is not a freak Athlete. Being a Steve Nash would serve Jeremy Lin quite well. There was some comparisons during the Linsanity period.
Yeah you don't have to be a freak athlete to be a great point guard. Look at Parker. Lin plays smart basketball and a lot of what he does you won't see on ESPN highlight reels so people will overlook it but there is no doubt that he is constantly making good things happen and in those 50/50 situations he is hustling.
I actually think he is great athletically. I just don't think he is a freak athlete like Rose, Russ and Wall.
