I do recall D’Antonio saying when Lin worked out for them prior to the draft his agility numbers were off the charts, hence why he can carve up his way into the lane.
That's why they were interested in picking him up after Rockets cut him

Not really. Baron Davis tore his ACL in college. He came into the NBA and was still a crazy athlete. The technology on ACL recovery is probably a lot better now than it was then for Baron. Rose will most likely be fine.

Where is your data? The ONLY data that is available is BAM and combine numbers. Everything else is pure conjecture. Every hard piece of evidence that is available indicates that Lin is not a superior athlete to Rose/Wall.

Bravo. I thought my time on the internet had made me impervious to trolling, but you got me. You got me good.

    I concede defeat.

Well Lin hasn't played a whole lot yet, so we don't know if he wants to do all the fancey dunking thing.
Just trying to stay fresh and efficient, and hold down a job is probably what he is most concerned with so far

Umm do you watch Lin play? He drives with reckless abandon and is always looking for contact. That is what is so fun about his play. He's falling to the floor 9 times out of 10...

Some people have their pet players and nothing, I mean nothing is going to change their mind about them.

DD had brooks and many more before, coachbadlee has the 4 rooks and now there are some posters who believe Lin was created in a lab mixing the best skills of all the HOF point guards of the past.

Frustrating to read about over and over, but something that is just gonna happen around here.

Wow people are seriously underestimating Westbrook's vertical and athleticism.

Look at him posterize Asik. He does dunks like these all the time.

I love Lin but he hasn't even made one contested dunk. Maybe this offseason Lin can improve his hops again but for now its not close.

When Russ splits the defense he can go for the dunk when Lin splits the defense he goes for the lay up. Does anybody have any video of Lin splitting the defense and dunking it? From what I have seen Lin needs more steps than Russ to get his dunk off.

Why people want to live vicariously through a basketball player, I'll never know. Thanks for the heads-up though.

This is the closest he ever came to doing that but his dunk was pretty much uncontested. (Lol Wizards)

Lin can posterize people too. Go to 0:22.

The same holds true for westbrook's dunk against sacramento or in the all star game. Point being?

Yeah that dunk was completely uncontested. I don't think there is a video of him doing contested dunks. And if you look at Rose and Russ when they attack the paint and gets stucl with the bigs they can use there explosiveness to get to the rim and dunk it. When Lin attacks the paint and he gets stuck with the bigs usually he turns it over because he lacks that explosion that Rose and Russ have. This isn't to say that Lin isn't an above average athlete because he is. But I don't think that he is on Rose and Russ level. I would love to be proven wrong though.

Some of these posts are Javale McGee-esque stupid. Again, look up the definition of max vert. It is their max vert. Max is max. Get it? Westbrook's is 36.5." Lin's is almost certainly identical.

Did you see the video of Russ dunking over Omer Asik totally contested and Russ posterized Omer?

But you have no argument, no specific claim and of course no evidence. Therefore, ad hominem attack against no one and no specific argument in particular.

Show me a link that proves that Lin's max vert is identical to Russ.
