Maintaining confidence in yourself doesn't mean that you will never question yourself. In fact, just the opposit. If you have confidence in yourself then you will not be shaken if you learn something new. It means you will be strong enough to consume the new info rather than being scared of it and/or outright dismissing it. That you can tolerate being challenged.
If I walked off with somebody's valuable property I'd make sure to make a mighty effort to get it back to them. That is called responsible citizenry. Only bubble-people and children believe in the "law" of Finder's Keepers.
You are amazing, you are lucky the lady held the item for you and did not simply steal it. The bubble you live in is nothing short of amazing.
The only luck she had is that I allowed the Girl Scouts to warn her that I was calling in the authorities to return my property. She sure got her **** together when she heard that was coming down the pike!
If she wanted to steal it, she could have stolen it.... you just think the world revolves around you and your bubble.
I think the world revolves around doing the right thing. Her original attempt was an outright failure... and then she stopped trying... until she heard that Barney Fife was on the case!
if you believe that, you're loonier than i thought. besides, wasn't it, more or less, a disposable camera?
No, it was a $1000 unit.... oh and thanks for the warning about your take on doing the right thing. Stay away!
It's sad to see that so many of you have what is tantamount to a criminal mind-set. You take something that is not yours, you go out of your way to return it to the proper owner. Especially if it has significant value. You don't wait weeks and then only come out of your self-induced coma when you learn that the authorities are being brought in otherwise. My God, how far have we sunk...
Who is this quote from: "That boy done read so much crap, he's gone and educated away his common sense."
Here's another: "If you want to get laid, go to college. If you want an education, go to the library."
$1000 unit? peanuts. also, nice spin on my calling out your panglossian drivel . anywho, you loiter around with you inane bull a lot more often than i. why don't you GTFO, if you can't handle it? better yet, get out and enjoy some fresh air or get a damn job. yup.
Check you meds, perhaps?!? Panglossian? That's good company: Martin Luther King, Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, Bill Worrell....
