Actually....the only maps I really play are Office, Dust, Dust 2, and Italy.... I know I'm not the only one in here that doesn't like Nuke....Harrisment was for any map but that one when we were looking for a server...lol. I haven't played any CS in so long, I'm trying to relearn the maps I hadn't played much (when I did play CSS).....like Inferno.
Not judging; just giving you a hard time. I'll play whatever with y'all, but know I definitely prefer the more competitive maps.
I used to play CS a lot back in the day. Hadn't touched it in years though, when I no longer had time to remain dedicated. The few times I did play it, were for quick matches in Office / dust 2 etc.... Definitely played the **** out of it today though....
Are we for sure getting silencers with the final version? I heard some guys speculating about it on a server. Any other weapons changes? And yeah, I have never been a fan of Nuke. I'd much rather them come out with a new version of some other classic map, like militia.
Silencer likely won't be in this patch. They've been saying it's been coming for some time now (then most recently saying they have no comment, I'd guess in the next couple months). Weapon changes -- I doubt it, I think recoil is just about where it is staying. They could make changes though, we'll see. People found a lot of new maps in the games' files. So either we're getting them today, or they're DLC (I'm betting on today).
So I never purchased CS:GO yet, only have access to the beta. On steam it says I already have the game but that I may purchase it is a gift for someone else. Do you think this is just a glitch because I have access to the beta? I don't want to waste the 10% off discount before it goes live.
Used to play competitively in 1.6 and haven't played much Source since then... GO has gotten me back in the mood for competitive play again and it's WONDERFUL.
Please tell me they're converting the beta build to the full version with a patch... instead of having to download the full game again.
It's a lot of fun competing. I've played against almost all of the top teams right now (some are from 1.6, some from source, some from CoD), and everyone seems to really like the game. It's come very far from when I first got into the beta in march. Hopefully they'll keep at it. I imagine so. I'm sure someone is either working on converting it, or will be shortly.

Lol everyone on the Steam forums are raging right now. They just renamed the beta to the full retail version and didn't patch it. :grin:
Its always hilarious though. Everyone expects a perfect launch for almost every game and then they rage about it if its not perfect. :grin:
