I think this is great for him. Like many have said, it did wonders for Kobe.

Great players with no baggage usually don't move often. DERP.

The whole reason we're rebuilding is due to 2 injury prone superstars whose careers ended prematurely. Makes sense why Morey wouldn't want to relive that again with Bynum.

He's been saying he was getting this done for a minute. Of course the majority of the people are going to say we dodged a bullet because the most popular players on this team Daryl Morey didn't land him. If we would've landed him everyone would've said see, "we told you morey's plan was going to work"

His injuries have not been that bad and not in the same place each time. He had surgery prior to '10-11 and missed the beginning of the season due to an injury he had in the first round of the playoffs the previous year, where he played the entire rest of the playoffs while LA won the championship. This isn't a Yao Ming situation.

Honestly, we needed Bynum or a player of his skill.

Granted he's not exactly a franchise player yet, but he has been in the shadow of Kobe the bean so who really knows if he can lead a team on his own.

I hope Morey bites the bullet soon and steps out of his comfort zone to land bonafide talent.
I think the moves this offseason showed a change in this direction so hopefully we don't have to wait long

Your right about that, I think some people forget how we got to this point.

This. Look, Bynum is just a few months older than DH, and he already needs knee surgery? Maybe if Bynum didn't have his medical history he'd be a good gamble, with his number of knee injuries he's too much of a red flag for us to take a chance on him. IMHO its not us, but rather the Lakers who dodged a bullet by exchanging a Hummer with a suspect engine for a slightly-used Veyron.

it was known he'd do it since the end of the season.

so it doesn't really add anything new to the equation.

as for dodging a bullet, who knows. injuries aren't even the only potential 'bullet' with Bynum. It was always a risk, and everyone always knew it.
But then how often do you get a chance to add a top 15 player who's under 25, at a huge discount.
It's a fine risk for the 76ers, it would've been a fine risk for Houston too.

It's not Morey. It's Les. You guys forgot what the man has done. He went for home run every single time, way before Morey. He wouldn't settle for 2nd best. He didn't want Bynum. Les is the smart man here.

Only if Doug leaves....he leaves, I'm assuming, Collins n Bynum will
    be great together.
I do think he likes Houston, as he seemed together thrown out of
    Rockets games...
If there's one team that we always match up well with, despite their changes,
and ours we seem to be fairly competitive against them
