This is ridiculously accurate... because prison in know way rehabilitates you... i mean i was smart enough to avoid the racism, drama, fights, politics of prison, etc... you see if you want to rehabilitate someone dont put him around a bunch of.convicts who are likely better at crimes than you... i can honestly say i learned nothing in prison but how to be a better criminal... they all brag and try and show off by letting you know thier 'secrets'... lmao, obviously they cant be too good if they are in prison... but once you goto prison... the pefcentages of going back are high... luckily(so far ) i have avoided trouble...
Caught a possession charge back when I was a stoner. Not a felony though. I work with a guy that went through a similar situation as yours. Some guy was talking mess to his wife, so my co worker beat him with the removable handle from a car jack. He did 2 years as well.
It seems surprising and sad i would do it again... but i truely believe i am a better person for it... it opened my eyes and.made.me open to new things... prison for two years sucked arse, but i gained a lot of knowledge from it, all within myself... i found out aloy about my self and my dreams... when your in a room for 23 hours a day with your thoughts you would be amazed at the.amount of things you can actually teach yourself... that is if you dont let it get to you...
Imho i think everyone has committed a felony at some point in thier life without even knowing they have done so... Also, i had a public defender, im poor.....
Im not black white male actually... although that shouldnt matter(even tho it does, which is ****ed up)... and it wasn't self defense because i started the 'altercation' by snatching the camera and smashing... But truthfully the justice system is that fuucked up...
Not sure where you live, but some states restore your right to vote after some time. Go here to check it out. http://felonvoting.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=286
This was the single most important factor in your case. It probably made the difference between prison time and probation.
This is completly understandable, but in all honesty i didnt car aboutbgoing to jail or probation, only about it not being a felon...
I appreciate this alot... i live near the woodlands now.was born in houston and grew up in vegas... ill have to check this out... thank you very much for this..
Lmao... the stories would scare mosy... i watched a guy get his head head stomped untill brains splattered on the wall... well i didnt witness it but i was a worker and only person on the tier, and it was two doors down from my room... multiple riots, multiple fights, unlimited racism, countless drugs, unlimited tattoos.... its crazy and would bee too much....
Yeah... i mean it sounds fun to most from the outside, which is why shows like locked up and gangland are so popular, but, when you live it it is no fun... its a dangerous thing filled with paranoia and lack of trust for.anyone... you become numb to **** that would shake most, like the mass killings in wisconsin(which didnt affect me)... the violence and and the culture and the atmosphere is not for anyone... which is why i get so saddened when they try teenagers as adult... because they grow.up in an environment surrounded by violence, curroption, racism, and criminal activity... so when they get out thats all they know.. and they have been brainwashed to believe this is the way to be and what is right, when it is not... i have seen it numerous times... especially with kids because they are always trying to prove themselves and get tooken advantage of by other oldrr criminals who warp thier mind and thier innocence... its saddd....
Actually this happens too... but not as the media portrays it... there are females... even some who grow boobs with estrogen pills and long hair... but male rape is extremey rare...i knew guys who had girlfriends and whobwould have sex with other guys in the 'seat', although i stayed away and didnt fratenize with em often...
