Man I'm surprised people actually replied to this post. I was only expecting people from the "rap nowadays" thread to actually post songs on here.

Well, if you guys want baby making music that isn't blatantly explicit, non-mainstream and R&B like (it's technically smooth jazz), you'll like Paul Hardcastle and the Jazzmasters.

You'd never guess some of these songs are over 20 years old or some facts about Helen Rogers, the vocalist for many of Hardcastle's songs.

Also, a quick shout out to Tony Toni Tone for their classic baby maker.

Couple things. One, maybe people arent as accepting of their music interests being Official, its too "formal". Kinda have to guide it out of them in a more "fun" or reactionary way.

Another, it was a random thread from couple years ago about the demographics on this site. I said the "black" culture on this site wasnt as predominant and mixed as it'd seem for a basketball site. And I guessed there just isnt many black/african american members on here who usually support the hip hop and R&B. Or maybe it gets shamed on too much where they don't want to "let loose" with it and draw the usual hecklers. Little examples like the "What Are You Listening To" thread, its mostly hipstery choices in progressive rock, pop and electronica. There's little dialogue of hip hop or R&B. Nothing wrong with that at ALL, just its an indicator of sorts.

There's always some perspectives to give on music. I wouldnt doubt what you said there is how it case. This is competely my THEORY - I think its a bit ironic that the more channels and avenues and distrubition of music there is, it seems to water down the mass produced product even more. You'd think that more competition means better music. But we seemed better off with FEWER stations and tv long ago. Its almost like its given more channels for people to cash in on their mediocre crap, rather than the true cream of the crop rising to the top. Kinda like "expansion" in sports, having too many teams.

My lady and I don't call it baby making music, because our baby making days are behind us.

We call it "get nekkid and ***** music".

Our favorite "get nekkid and *****" music is Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Sade & Boney James.
