"If third-year pro Patrick Patterson had it his way, not only would he be the Rockets' starting power forward, but rookie Jeremy Lamb would be the team's starting shooting guard ahead of established veteran Kevin Martin. Patterson said as much in a recent interview while visiting China, adding that he'd go with PG Jeremy Lin, SF Chandler Parsons and C Omer Asik to round out his starting five. This could have very well been an honest mistake by Patterson, which can happen when you're put on the spot to come up with a quick answer, but it probably won't sit well with Martin or the Rockets' coaching staff. At the very least, this will be something to keep an eye on leading up to the start of training camp." http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors/_/date/20120816#26648 I would as well lol..but i want lamb to learn some from KMart.
Pat, his grandmother, and everyone else knows Martin is on the way out at the end of the season, if not [way] earlier.
Just how to get to the line...lol..but i guess that involves flopping..but then he will be a SUPERSTAR! lolz
Well it was a Chinese interview, could have been lost in translation. That's the story I'd go with if I was Patterson
I like PPat, even though he looks like a 40 year old man. He showed some really great flashes his rookie year and I can only assume that his ankle was not 100% last year so I will write that off. BUT he needs to really step it up.
You guys under value Kevin Martin so much. He nearly has the scoring ability of Carmelo Anthony, getting to the line, nailing free throws, finishing at the bucket, good outside shooting. Yes, his individual defense is bad, but a good coach relies on good team defense to make up for it. Most sports fans would be thrilled to have Martin on there team but nobody here.
