Ilgauskas' best season of his career (pretty overrated for most of it). Tough his primary reason for effectiveness was pick and pop with LBJ. Of course, one think Kwame doesn't suck balls at is defense.
I'll take Cavs Flip Murray and Larry Hughes could both score. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Drew Gooden, Anderson Varejao were fairly formidable big men. Eric Snow wasn't a horrible PG. Sasha Pavlovic stroking a 3 every now and then.
Bro he taught Bynum everything he knows. "If you can score on me, you can score on anyone.." -Kwomay Brown to a young Bynum
Hughes was a terrible player with the Cavs. One of the most inefficient players in the league. Cavs were better off without him. Anderson Varejao was playing 15mpg back then as a 2nd year player (a decent rotation overall though). Eric Snow wasn't a horrible PG in Philly. He was one of the worst players in the NBA with the Cavs. He was flat out horrible. Him and Hughes formed one of the worst shooting back courts of all time. Sasha Pavlovic was pretty much a nobody that year. Had his best year the following season, but wasn't very good in 2006.
Cavs would win a series probably 4-2. Odom is the best allaround player, but I think the Cavs have the best team, with a solid bench rotation. That Lakers team was garbage, wasnt much better with Kobe honestly.
It'd come down to the production of Odom and Ilgauskas. Odom is a matchup nightmare for the Cavs, while no one on the Lakers team could guard Big Z.
Of course. Every decent player aside from Odom/Ilgauskas/Gooden were only decent before of after that season.
