Patterson did another interview with another newspaper. This one is a lil bit more interesting. Lol. It sounds like he's pretty confident he will remain on the Rockets.
It's in Chinese. Patterson is one smart and funny guy. I now understand why he could get a Chinese shoe deal. Lol.
Praising Yao, Yi and Lin, saying all the political correct things = the secret of getting a Chinese endorsement. Sorry, the interview is too long to translate.
Here's the link: http://www.yangtse.com/system/2012/08/16/014176374.shtml When asked to share his thoughts on Morey, he said Morey is one of the best in the business.
I wanted to know what he said that led you to believe that he was confident that he would be back as a Rocket. Or was it just not one thing he said but just the way he was speaking about the team.
You realize that basketball has been popular overseas before Lin even entered the NBA right? Kobe is one of the most popular players in Asia.

Anyone know where we over here in Texas can purchase some of the Peak shoes for Rockets players? I remember Deke had some badass ones, but I couldn't find them anywhere.
Not everything is about Lin is my point. The NBA overseas just doesn't revolve around him. You are making it sound like the only reason why China cares about PPat is because of Lin which is just not true. Lin just became a rocket after all.
Alright girl , you asked a question and I tried to answer. But you are trying to get in a debate. Forget I ever said anything.
You probably don't understand Chinese very well. Chinese people mostly care about relationship more than anything. Trust us, the only reason someone like Patterson is remotely known in China and getting a shoe deal is because he's on a team with Yao before and Lin now. Not how popular nba is, not his playing ability and not other reasons.
Peak shoes and li Ning shoes are expensive man. Wanted to get some for basketball and they were like $180! Maybe its because they're imports but I mine as well buy Koreans to play in. I was hoping they were knock off prices.
