I wouldn't hold it against you. This game is worst than the last night MNF excluding the last 10 minutes.

Mexico played like crap, . :(

US only had one opportunity and scored, Mexico had a lot and didnt scored, so congrats to the US.

Man of the Match goes to Tim Howard. Mexico completely overwhelmed the US, it is amazing that they didn't score.

As per earlier, whatever Cameron lacks in pace, he has the aerial ability and positioning to make up for it. Perfectly suited for Stoke City.

Hahaha only if our best athletes played soccer. Mexico pointing the laser in Howards face was funny. Great win.

It was only a friendly, and it wasn't very pretty, but I'm ecstatic right now.

Hopefully the wins in Italy and in Mexico gives us confidence and we can carry it over into the qualifiers, and eventually the World Cup.

That was a really bad flop actually. Not picking sides.

Donovan only played for a half, no Dempsey, no Cherundulo, and no Bocanegra (the captain) - great showing by the boys today.

Howard made some amazing saves, and I'm sure Chicharito is wishing he had a couple of those back that he normally puts away.

    Go USA!

Long night, long day today, but yeah, it wasn't too exciting.

I thought Mexico dominated the game, or so it seemed they had possession most of the time, especially in the first half.

I don't think Mexico had all their best players either. I'm glad to see our young guys get some time and experience, and especially in a place like Mexico. It's good for them.

Looks like Geoff Cameron is the new centerback.

Which one of Chicharita's flops? That pansy did nothing but flop all over the field...but that's what I expect from mexico.

I'm happy for the win...it's huge for the program. It's confidence going into next year that they can win in Azteca. Many that played tonight likely won't be a part of the team next year when it counts, but it's still big for US Soccer.

On the team...does Kyle Beckerman have something on Klinsmann? Why the f*** does he continue to get chances. Of all the subs tonight, he was the first that should have been pulled. He was pathetic defensively. He was pathetic on the ball. He provided absolutely nothing other than a fluke touch that accidentally almost went in. Same goes for Jermaine Jones. I have never seen whatever it is that continues to get him called in. He's not good going forward. He's a poor defender. He's a poor passer. Even worse, he gets pissed for no reason and commits stupid fouls in dangerous areas.

Torres probably saw his last chance go by with a wimper. I like what Boyd potentially brings to the table. He has the physical tools but needs experience. Tonight will go a long way to help him. Gomez was ok. Too much flopping from him, too. Receive the ball with your back to the goal and distribute. The play in which they had a quick throw to him was a huge choke. He should have never taken that shot as it was a horrible angle going away from the goal. He has to put that ball in the middle and trust his teammate is going to be there...as Boyd was.

Edu did ok in the center. Luckily he had Geoff Cameron. The Dynamo are really going to miss him. He lost chicharita a couple of times but otherwise was the best player on the back line. Fabian Johnson did well to contain Guardado. He's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The back line did well when you consider the garbage coming from Beckerman, Torres, and Jones.

The lack of midfield depth has to be dealt with somehow. Klinsmann is betting a little heavy of Bradley being there. With a full Serie A season coming with Roma, we kind of have to hope he stays healthy enough to be ready for the qualifiers. I wish Klinsmann would give Brad Davis a shot. I think he could really add something...certainly more than Jones, Torres, and Beckerman have shown.

hey guys congrats on the win but don't kid yourselves. the usa was really really bad. i don;'t think they completed at any time more than 2-3 passes. wow one of the worst games i've ever seen, no kidding. it could have been 4-0 to mexico but ended 1-0 to usa. that's futbol, congrats again.

just to clarify..., cameron and howard were great, the rest were crap.
