it must be asked, is Biden smart enough, or sentient enough, to be one heart beat away from the presidency?

Much more than Palin would have.

But he does suffer from foot-in-mouth/hey-dummy-there's-an-open-mike disease.

They gonna put ya'll back in chains! - Joe Biden

What a filthy race President Obama is running. Race baiting is what they are now left with -- it has always been their weapon of choice when up against the ropes. It got them out of the Jeremiah Wright scandal in 2008 and it got Bill Clinton off of their case in the primaries in 2007/2008. It's the lowest form of politics.

Obama is dragging America down into the gutter with a distract, distort, lie, and divide campaign. He hopes he can use negativity and demagoguery to divide America, then cobble together 51% to win the race. That's just shameful. How does he expect to govern after running such a negative, sleazy campaign? America needs a new vision -- a positive message of economic hope. Romney is the obvious choice.

I mentioned this 'gaffe' in another thread and its priceless that the Obama admin can use Biden to say coded references and frames republicans are known perpetrators (some would say masters) at abusing.

That's not something mittens and Paul can directly pull off and get away with
