    Lol is this a joke?

I'll admit LBJ is a better team player than Kobe but the 06 Lakers would struggle against today's Bobcats..

Poll results show how a single championship can make people lose so much logic

Cavs team seems better balanced to me. But both teams are putrid.

Odom is the best player on the court in this situation.
Guess he could carry the Lakers to a narrow victory... although Smush and Kwame are huge negatives...

I was going to vote for Cavs to win, BUT then I saw Odom.

Odom was a very solid player in 06, who exactly do the Cavs have who isn't AWFUL? When big Z is your #1 option that is pretty bad.

+ the Lakers have a really young Bynum, not really sure what he would bring, but maybe that would help.

Lakers have Odom. Bobcats have...Mo Williams? LOL none of the cavs players can handle the rock or create offense. Larry Hughes did nothing on those teams but weigh it down, he was shooting a horrible percentage and would contribute to the Cavs losing.

I don't think so. Smush as a Laker was a decent offensive player. He couldn't play defense and had no concept of passing, but with this team it wouldn't matter.

I think the game would be interesting. It would be 2 teams made up of incredibly one dimensional players. Lamar Odom is the easily the best player. Those two teams could combine for 150 points one game, and turn around and do 250 the next game. So streaky and so dependent on 3 pt jumpers from 1-4 positions.

I guess people conveniently forgot Lamar is inconsistent? You dont know what you're gonna get from one night to another. His chances of giving you 4 points, 3 rebounds are just as much as giving you 20/10 hes that inconsistent and wild and if you put a decent big like Varejao who moves his feet, Odom is neutralized.

That Cavs team can run, create its own shot and play great D.

I'm tempted to say the Cavs. Odom could be force, but he could also play like garbage when unmotivated- and a Kobe-less team might play into factor. Illguaskas was still a quality center at this point, the Cavs frontcourt is just deeper and better than the Lakers.

The Cavs would a big, Lebron sized hole at the 3 though, and that could be a huge problem. At least Sasha Vujacic can start for the Lakers.

Bottom line: It be an interesting game. If Lamar plays hard and Vujacic can get hot- then maybe they have a shot. But, otherwise I think the Cavs win.
