There are 200,000,000 legally held guns in the USA according to the FBI.

There are 243,000,000 legally registered automobiles in the USA according to the DOT.

    Try again.

The point was that irrational people do irrational things with possessions that can kill, either it be an AR-15 or a supped up ford with a 5 inch thick steal bumper with bars and that can plow over crowds.

If you restrict one part of gun ownership, you eventually restrict guns entirely in the end.

And that is 100% a violation of peoples 2nd amendment to gun ownership.

The 2nd Amendment wasn't intended for Hunting or Sport. It was intended to stop corrupt government and to defend this nation from armies when they invade.

Also want to add, If our government became corrupt and started a hostile take over of this nation. They wouldn't be on Washington's front lawn with a simple pistol and hunting rifle, they would be out there with big guns.

If that happened and everyone was outside of the gates with hunting rifles, and pistols... they win.

All these shootings are happening in places with strict gun control. Pieces of paper that laws are written on don't protect people when SHTF.

It isn't that hard... The government needs to stay out of folks bedrooms, stay away from a woman's ovaries and leave our guns alone.

Are you trying to argue automobiles are less dangerous? In other words you have abandoned the "designed to kill" logic?

im trying to say that its illogical to try to compare the danger of guns to cars. they are completely different because one is used almost everyday by majority of americans for daily life. the other inst necessarily. To say that one is more dangerous and therefore guns shouldn't be limited is some 3rd grade stuff bro

Are you telling me guns are not necessary to farmers, hunters or rural Americans?

    OK bro

I just pointed out the massively stupid point made by CometsWin. I agree that "many people use them therefore they should be legal" is a 3rd grade argument. It makes little sense to connect usage rate to regulation in this manner.

As for necessity, go in any METRO thread and talk about private car necessity. I will be interested to see how far you get.

Read what you wrote... You said "guns". Using that logic should we make red sport cars illegal? They are not a necessity.

It's not baffling at all to weigh the benefits of car ownership and what they're intended for and gun ownership and what guns are designed for. Heart disease kills millions of people, are we going to outlaw cholesterol?

All I am doing is shooting down your arguments homie.

While asking the government to limit the usage of guns you seem to refuse the same discussion about cars. Privately owned autos are largely unnecessary for transporting humans, which refutes your guns being unnecessary argument. They kill far more people, and for many other reasons are not the greatest solution. All of your posts trying to separate them have not been very logical.

That's because you're a gun fanatic and you think guns are on par with the utility of cars when they're not. You're being ridiculous as usual. You're fresh to my ignore list, thanks.

That isn't what you said LOL. You said:

Your justification was intent of the creator.

If you want to concede that as nonsense, and move on to cost/benefit discussion feel free, but don't disguise it.

Good idea, your arguments are VERY weak..........as usual.

Am I a gun fanatic as well?

Your arguments are invalid. Cars are far worse for the environment, our foreign policy relations and as a citizen you are far more likely to be hurt by a vehicle than a gun.

If you personally have no use for guns and think the 2nd Amendment is either not important or valid, so be it. Just stop hiding behind absurd arguments that have been shot down like fish in a barrel.

The less government, anti-environment crowd is all about METRO and care for the environment now. It's rather funny.

I don't have a problem with the intention of the 2nd amendment. If you want to be in a militia and undergo training and be responsible in that manner then let's do that. If you just want to j*zz in your room while you clean your AR15 because owning an assault rifle makes you a real man so you can fight off the tyranny of government or defend your home from the invading Chinese army then yeah I have no use for that.
