It's honestly Locker's job to be had at some point, during this season. As Drexler says, "he's all skilled up." Good arm, athletic, and a smart QB.

I'm hoping for Locker (as a Titans fan). Just like VY/Collins, the veteran is only delaying the inevitable, and also our ability to judge the future. We are every bit as likely to make a SB run with Locker's playmaking ability as we are with Hasselbeck's experience. Might as well take the chance on the higher upside.

You guys aren't doing anything of substance without a healthy Britt.

Hasselbeck is better right now but wouldn't be surprised if Locker started. Locker has talent. But if I was them I'd roll with Hasselbeck no questions asked.

I'd guess Hasselbeck starts the first few games because, IIRC, they have a pretty tough opening stretch and Britt won't be available. Locker will be their starter at the end of the season, barring injury.

Locker wasn't a very good qb in college. How is expected to be a good qb in the pros?

Usually good qbs in the NFL were good qbs in college.

For example Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, etc.

Coaching & surrounding talent (Although Keith Price killed it last year).

Brady wasn't a superstar in college.

I liked when Locker rolled to his right and passed back across the field for an int. If he wins the job Texans are winning the South again.

He was pretty good. As a freshman he was running around trucking people, as a senior he learned to play in a pro offense. Sorry he didn't play under Sumlin at UH where he could have thrown for 7,000 yards a season.

He wasn't that good. He wasn't playing in the sec he was playing in the pac 12 which isn't known for its defense. He had a sub 60% completion rating which isn't good for a college qb. I went and looked up his qb rating and it was 9th out of 10 qualified qbs in the pac 12. He might make it, but I would be surprised based on his past performances.

Brady wasn't a superstar, but he was a top 2 or 3 qb in his conference.

Titans have ahtletes at all the skill positions, including TE. Very dangerous. QB is the question mark. Offensive line suspect. But loads of speed.

    Locker
    Britt
    Wright
    CJ2K
    Cook

You might want to cross Britt off that list bc he's bound to get arrested again at any moment.

After the 2nd preseason game, Locker doesnt seem to have the lead in the QB starting job, he could have locked the position, but he played bad, and Hasselbeck looked better in that game.
