Anyone check it out last nite?
I caught part of it and it seemed kind of interesting
far more interesting than Survivor or Dancing with the stars

[Was that Sarah Palin's husband Todd?]

I think I will give it a shot . . .when I got nothing else to watch

For one, every show that was advertised during the Olympics I'm absolutely sick of already.

Two, I'd be far more interested if regular people had to go through those simulated missions or if these "stars" were put into real life combat.

Three, how does Dean Cain end up on all these reality shows?! He's been riding his Lois and Clark fame for like two decades now.

Wesley Clark....wasn't he a serious candidate for President of the United States a couple of years back?

Now he's a game show host.

    Interesting.

People have, and will have, more serious injuries on Survivor and DWTS than this show. That's all you really need to know. It's basically celebrities having shooting practice and running some drills. Let's face it, NBC isn't getting a celebrity killed or seriously injured, and if there isn't a chance of that, then these guys are nowhere close to the real thing. All of the celebs are also strong and athletic. Maybe if they had less competent celebs it would be more entertaining.

I was much more interested in the "coaches" who have served and what they had to say about themselves, but i imagine there will be less of that going forward.

There was a show on Discovery (can't remember the name) that premiered earlier in the year that featured real life soldiers going through the elite training schools. Now that was bad ass.

Surviving the Cut. I enjoyed watching that. They also had "One Man Army" which was a competition that pitted ex-military, special forces, and domestic law enforcement members against each other in challenges. That was OK too.

This? I have no desire to see 3rd and 4th rate "celebrities" (Todd Palin? Really?) play military.
