Any news on Ish Smith? If he's still a free agent, I'd like to have him as our backup PG instead of Douglas.
I predict one or two guys get traded for 2nd round picks. Morris or Jones are traded with Martin. Patterson is dealt mid season. The rest of the guys are cut. We end up with. Lin/Douglas or Livingston Lamb/Delfino Parsons/White Motiejuanas/Jones Asik/Smith or Williams
As currently constructed: Starting lineup: C: Asik PF: Patterson SF: Parsons SG: Martin PG: Lin Key reserves: Douglas, Lamb, Delfino, White, DMo DNP: Jones, Morris IL: Smith, Forbes, Harrellson If the rookies progress well, Martin and Patterson could be traded midseason and Lamb and DMo take over their spots in the starting lineup and allow Jones or White move to the rotation.
if jefferson was on this team, he would be the best player by far. he's already a top 5 center in the league, you don't want that? but that's if we're talking about being a competitive team out there, which we are not. we're rebuilding, jefferson would take us back to mediocrity,

When your roster looks like ours does, you don't turn down players like Al Jefferson because they don't fit your style. He'd easily be the best guy on the roster and you'd rewrite your playbook around him. Not that it matters; Utah won't be giving him up for anything we could offer.
