Hey, I'm not saying it's DEFINITELY going to happen, but it's possible. You never know what McHale is going to do--he's not a player development coach and he's not going to get bossed by Morey. He has particular likes and dislikes. He takes a shine to somebody they're going to get to play whatever their potential might be. I'm just pointing it out... Morey has set up this roster to be squarely mediocre if McHale wants it to be.
U clearly have something against the rookies..I'm guessing this is because ur beloved fantasy Dwight trade did not happen for the Rockets..to say McHale may not play the rookiesrookies is dumb..He clearly played Parsons last year who was a rookie btw
I like our rookies fine, I think they were fantastic values where we picked them. But they are still all mid first rounders. I think this team is still stuck on the mediocrity treadmill and it could be really bad depending on McHale's decisions.
has it occurred to anyone that a team full of rookies doesn't showcase well. but put some decent players around a rookie or two, and then you can see what the rookie can do. its not a done deal that we hold on to all our rooks and hope they all become allstars. if they show great promise and a big name player becomes available we'll drop our rooks like we did Cassell and Horry for Barkley.
I'm guessing he is a vet meant to help mold the younger guys into better players but it begs the question, does this mean Kevin Martin is going to be moved, since if I am not mistaken, Delfino is a 2 guard.
But we don't care what McHale thinks or wants and we just want what's best for the team. The idea that this terrible move was made to appeal to our terrible coach simply makes it worse.
I just read 14 pages of BS and on the last page I find something that is intelligent and the likely path we are on. Also, I'm pro Jefferson if that fantasy were ever to come to fruition. We wont get much scoring at the 5 or 4. To have so many tweeners with no experience and no veteran big with any real offensive skill to help mold the youngsters would stunt their growth undoubtedly. More moves to come. I'll start questioning the roster when we get into the preseason.
