He reeked of such naked desperation, I almost - *almost* - felt sorry for him. Looked like a walking, talking distraction, a me-first player with no regard for team.
Speaking of "hard knocks", maybe Chad Johnson never recovered from that hit against the Browns a few years ago. He thought a "hard knock" on his wife's head might be a good thing. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dgNREzBAnY4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I wouldn't want that clown on our team ever, id rather have plaxico. But I'm fine with neither I like our young receivers and our offense is already potent without having a legit number 2 receiver anyways...
His fall back reality show got cancelled as well. Headbutt he said, she said, arrested, lost his last nfl shot ...such a sad falldown situation
Said no thanks earlier when he was available before Miami, no thanks now. I'd rather keep the WR core the way it is than to add a distraction to the locker room.
IF Andre Johnson who is friends with Chad, essentially becomes his legal guardian and makes Chad his shadow, I would do it. But why put that stress on AJ, especially given the NFL was a partner in the stop the violence campaign, so the Commish is at least going to suspend him a few games if he gets convicted which itself would mean probably a couple weeks behind bars or house arrest. A shame, I was hoping he might be able to salvage a decent ending to his career to look back on since he is unlikely a Hall of Fame player.
HE needed the Dolphins a lot more than they needed him. Hes a shadow of his former self and there are better options out there, NO THANKS
I really felt sorry for him when he was getting canned on Hard Knocks. He is just not the talent he once was and hes trying to hold on as best as he can...but he's a boneheaded and selfish. If he stays in shape, he may get a shot once the injury bug starts hitting teams. But if anything is going to shut him up and humble him, it would be the situation he is right now.
This. Chad is a dumbass......and no longer possess the abilities he once had. Miami did the right thing.

He didn't make it in NE with Belichick, who has made effective use out of guys like Gaffney, Stallworth, and Deion Branch. Nor could Chad learn the playbook; Branch was telling him where to line up.
