Because that's the only way he doesn't look like an idiot for repeatedly insisting over the past year that Houston is Howard's only possible destination.

Lol. Same. I can see here not being impressed by the efforts to kill Bin Laden. Lol.

Man at least he's trying. I'm so tired of people taking the GM and owner for granted, you have posters here actually complaining about asset collecting. Like its a bad thing to get young players, cheap contracts and lottery picks!

Morey hasn't been able to land the big fish because he was always losing out to the bigger markets/better locations. Melo, Amare wanted to go NY, Bosh wanted to go to Miami and now DH wanted Brooklyn or LA. Its not like other teams beat him with a better offer, the dice was clearly loaded against him.

Its the same thing with Lin, people were bashing the FO for letting him go, but we cut for legit reasons (open space for Dalembert aka 7 foot defensive c), while other teams had ample roster space and missed out on him entirely. Now we steal him back and people are STILL complaining lol.

I mean, when was the last time you heard the Bucks doing something relevant? Pacers? Grizz (other than overpaying Gay and Randolph)? Hell Dallas sacrificed their chance to repeat for a shot at triple D and ended up with nothing, but you don't hear any complaints about that. We're the only team who always picks up late lottery but always starts the season with excitement and hope, esp. this year with Lin and a 7 foot defensive center like Asik to build around. The problem here is people are always trying to compare the Rox to top tier markets like LA, OKC and Miami when we should be lumping ourselves with bottom cities like Minny and Milwaukee. Sucks but its true.
