Can't say I'm going to love hearing a mini worship service for every post-game interview, but whatever. At least we have talent in the backcourt.
To be honest. I care more so about what they produce on the court. Everything else, character, integrity can be icing on the cake. But the products on the court is my focus.
Point still stands that there are a lot of deeply religious people that do a lot of questionable things.
If we're gonna discuss crazy fundamentalists and crazy left-wing loons, better move it to Debate and Discussion forum.
Hopefully he can shake his way there. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1OfiCpnmc-A?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
REPPED. The crazy is not just for religious people. It's usually the religious haters that like to think so. IE: Recent example is TDKR shooter.
I never said the crazy was just for religious people, I would be foolish to think that. There is a lot of crazy to go around. The premise of my initial post was from the viewpoint of religiosity. That is all. Fixing my post was meaningless because you assumed something I never said.
Fundimentaly, my point was a reaction to all the people acting as though Lamb was somehow a special leader and paragon of virtue because he went on 700 club and yelled 'praise Jesus' a few times. If the discussion is now that public displays of religion makes him no beter or worse than any other human being, that all sorts of people do crazy stuff, and he should be judged on his own merits then we have no argument here.
Whatever you say ... You posted that before anyone said anything.Obvious you have some kind of ill feelings for whatever reason, don't care ,it's cool, but don't play it off by saying ... Because really I didn't get that from anything that was posted in this thread.
Lin and Lamb because of their faith will play with a very different attitude and mentality. What drives them is not what is driving many of the guys in the NBA. They are driven by faith and play for the glory of God. With that alone you know these guys will give it all they have on the court. Christian or not you will be able to appriciate the hard work and effort. I see this as a huge plus for the Rockets and if these guys can get it together than this makes them even more dangerous since they will feed off each other. I expect these two to be the best players/heart and soul (no pun intended) of the team instantly unless a move is made that involves an already all-star......
I actually don't like the displays of faith for the same reason I don't like to watch two dudes making out. It's great you're into that sort of stuff, but keep it to yourself. I watch Rockets to watch my team play basketball, what you do off the court is your business, not mine...
