Concerning Lydia. Has Hank's super intuition been wrong about anyone. Except Walt? Why must everyone else in the DEA be Fricking boob? Rocket River
Keep in mind that Mike has a mole within the DEA that worked under Gus Take a wild guess as to who you think that'll turn out being...
That would be obvious. Very obvious based on the show history. Minority characters don't last long and aren't on the side of the good guys. Rocket River.
There's been a few legs pop up thru out the series that that theory could run on... For instance, if you recall, every single time Hank was actually on to something during the hunt for heisenberg, Gomez was always hell bent on playing it off as rubbish. I'm not too sure if I'd enjoy that being the case tho...
Yea an annoying twist I would say...I don't think so..that's weak Let's fae it the last season revolves around your main first season characters, who we've seen transform into totally different people, from Walt to "Hezenburg", sky to "suicidal scared of Walt Skylar), a mature "Flynn" (lol), and hank (who was right, but is now just now getting over his rehab-which we saw his determination the most with him, killing the 2 sent to kill him, and rehabbing himself with no legs, he seems the most stable of characters, and actually has grown rather than regressed, like all the other characters mentioned, Hank (tick, tick, tick)-skylar tick tick tick), and leads me to Jesse a mature Jesse who really is still lost, but just not as "lost" as he used to be, he looks at "Walt" as Walt, a ather figure, not "Hezenburg" Mike gets his most appearances in this last season, so we will, and have learned a ton we didn't know, and still don't So the theme is to end with how we started, an ending of death, for many? Maybe, A happy ending, I doubt it. This show is deeper than the mind blowing movie by Darren Aronofsky based off a novel "Requiem for a dream"-obv one is a movie, one is a show, but they are both tragic "Greek" modern day tales. The Wire was great, but had so many characters, while they did great with all of them, Breaking Bad has had the fortune of relying on far less characters, and dive deep into a pool, of lies, deceit, greed, hubris, love, and laughter, and death, and BB has been better at their characterization (not word I'm looking for) - but they were able to in BB get into the heads so to speak of the characters, far deeper, than any other show, or movie. The Wire is great for those who have not seen it, and if you watch Treme the. You'll see why HBO went back to grab those characters from the wire, to Tréme
Question. Skylar is Marie's sister not Hank's right? Marie gets more and more irritating. I wonder if they will revisit her clypto story line Is it me or was hank less than enthusiastic about taking the kids Rocket River
An EDIT before the tick tick tick it says Hank...I meant Walt trying to show that maybe...Hank is the "survival of the fittest" character after all he is somewhat of the Protagonist, in the "good, fighting drugs", while the antagonist as well, against Walt.. Since Walt is the main actor, he obv. is supposed to be the protagonist, as he did this for his, "family"...but this show is all about the ending, and that means "survival of the fittest"
BTW. I loved Mike's speech on "making the guys in jail whole" (Love that phrase) Walt goes off about it being extortion shows his nieve he still is. Like he was expecting some honor among thieves. Or Like he was so wronged my their extortion. Mike is like this is the price of doing business. GUESSING HERE BUT I think Walt will seek to get rid Of the only link between them and him. Which is Mike. Rocket River.
"Maybe the bird flew too close to the sun..wound up getting his throat cut" Yup. Walt has to remember that even the great Jesse James was taken out by a nobody. And if anything, Walt more or so resembles the nobody in this picture. (Gus was Jesse James)
Yeah, it's crazy to think everything we've experienced with Walt has happened in such a small span of time. Until they truly mentioned it this season, I had completely lost track of time. I was half expecting Junior to be graduated by now when he only drove a car for the first time "6 months ago" haha I love it. I also have a theory on how the ricen will come into play Spoiler With Skylar becoming increasingly radioactive and picking up her chain smoking habits...... ????? If worse comes to worse and with her pulling the pool stunt in front of Hank n' Marie, staging a suicide would be a pretty severe turn in the story... Although not sure how the ricen would transition into a suicide by autopsy but who knows?
Itd be real easy to eliminate her from the picture. She is apparently suicidal, and with her becoming more of a hazard in Walt's master scheme, I could see him taking her out in 5:8 considering that is the last episode of the first half season.
Exactly what I was thinking.. This 1/2 season cliff hanger would be Walt vs Skyler The 2/2 season finale would be Walt vs Hank/Jesse
