British commentary though, but at least you can understand what they're saying http://atdhenet.tv/45202/watch-final-usa-vs-spain
Not like the Americans don't have floppers on their team too. Just one of them rarely plays unless it's a blowout.
It's nice to hear stuff on the court though. I think I heard "Melo, get back, get back!" when USA was playing defense. Though I wouldn't mind commentary here and there.
Since the QuarterFinals, Durant is shooting 40% from the field and has 1 total assist in 3 games. Nice going KD
it's horrific (Olympics). but keep in mind, you are also seeing the worst side of FIBA officiating. they are inviting refs from all continents to make it impartial "in Olympic spirit". Near East, Mid East, Africa, US, Canada, etc etc. but the best FIBA-rules refs are by far in Europe, because that's where top 10 FIBA-rules leagues are. Euroleague is reffed well and consistently. The refs are pros and well paid and trained. I mean, the American ref is from the NBA referees program, that's not even FIBA-related. And then some are from semi-pro leagues. What consistency could you expect?
If anything, I'm surprised that some of these refs aren't asking Kobe and Tony Parker's autographs during the halftime. Some of them hardly ever see this level of talent, speed and athleticism in person.
If Pau plays this aggressive for LA there is no team that can beat them. But after 2 underachieving years in the playoffs for Pau I have my doubts.
Interesting that Marc Gasol would admit that he and his coaches kind of lost track of how many fouls he had. That seems like something that someone should be in charge of tallying.
halfcourt game is not USA's strengths, if they don't get the transition game going this is going to the wire
LOL, I don't know what feed I'm watching, but the commentators argued that it was a good call! Even more so when they showed the replay! "That may be something you get away with in the league but...[replay shows all ball] yup, that's a good call!" "Maybe he thought it shouldn't be a shooting foul." Complete idiots, smh!
All in all you can argue he did not do his best for the ball club.... def showing up in the Olympics once 4 years.... we shall see
