Yes, Bob Fitzgerald, you don't have to remind us every 5 minutes. 5 fouls and you're out...

This game already is a foul fest.

Lol, I love how Rudy's head whips back and his arms go flailing when he's touched on the calf.

I'm watching a stream without commentary. It's really weird.

Not just this game (or Olympics), but all you have to do is watch a couple of weeks of FIBA basketball to understand NBA officiating is relatively good. It's far from perfect but the yoyo inconsistency of FIBA whistles is a total joke.

Yeah, the only commentary I found was Spanish. At first I liked no commentary but I am missing some things I think.

It's going to be a blowout in the 2nd half for USA. Spain hasn't made any 3s all tournament and they're raining 3s today. Law of averages will even out.

    he's fairly awesome.
and the thing is, Spain has historically been one of the least flopping teams, like Russia, US, Lithuania.
but they've imported so many Yugoslavians and South Americans into their league, it seems to be changing their basketball culture very fast.
Once Pau retires and this younger generation fully takes over, they'll be known for flopping just as much as Argentina or Serbia.

I seriously wish Nicolas Batum would jump out of the stands and hit Rudy Fernandez in the nuts... Damn how do you not have any shame in flopping so much?

You can use the law of averages to say that Spain will continue to rain threes because they haven't made any all tournament. One game to make up for all that

i don't know. they are one of the most talented 3pt teams, on individual basis.
the law of averages would be them now shooting like the US vs. Nigeria to offset those uncharacteristic earlier games.

The refs are doing everything in their power to make this game painful to watch.

On a side note, the Russians have the most disgusting looking uniforms ever designed. I don't understand how they're not all covered in puke. Though maybe they are, it's hard to tell.

Love it when these superstars must play with the refs not being for them. They've had the refs help in the NBA and now they are finally seeing how you are reffed if you're not a superstar
