Why take a knee in preseason?

not a bad preseason game. Saw a few good plays out of Mercilus when I was able to watch the game.

He's still on his rookie contract. What are you talking about?

Holiday. Had a return for TD, and a few other solid ones. I'd still prefer Manning though.

Definitely beats having to watch a game from the ESPN Gamecast, after desperately searching for links to watch it online for hours.

This man speaks the truth...pay no attention to the haters man.

On a similar note, why is Arian Foster still on this team? I mean, look at the stats vs Grimey.

Arian Foster - 1 Carry for 11 yds and a fumble

Jonathan Grimes - 9 Carries for 37 yards and a TD

Great to see the Texans again. There were several bright spots: Holiday's run back for the TD, the running of Grimes (hope I have the names right), and the sacks of Reed and Mercilus. Schaub didn't look good, Foster fumbled, and the continuing saga of "red zone futility." There has to be a reason why the Texans bog down in the red zone. Is it play calling? Execution? Lack of confidence? What? Last season they stayed in the 40% range in the red zone which is awful. That continued tonight and even though it is a meaningless preseason game, it is reason for concern.

Nice Win, and here are some of my thoughts:

    - Schaub looked good today, he didnt look slow because of the injury.

    - Kareem Jackson played good, did some nice plays, it seems he really is improving.

    - K. Martin did some good plays, he still need some development, but its normal for a rookie in his first NFL game. Lestar Jean had some nice plays too.

    - The defense looked great, even without Cushing and Watt.

. The surprises for me were Tim Dobbins in the D, and Jonathan Grimes in the offense.

    - I really hope the NFL gets an agreement soon with the refs, these replacement refs had some mistakes.
