if their team didn't have enough potential personality issues, I'd say absolutely. With leadership and under a coach like Doug Collins, he could turn out into a decent enough bench guy for them. but right now Collins will have plenty of other worries.
That'd be Holiday AND Bynum's demand for MAX money. Holiday will get 8-10 million, Bynum will get MAX money. Holiday is not a max player, never will be
Critics have said the same thing about the player in your poster title. I still think the player in question (name in your poster title) can be fairly good NBA player, regardless. Although, personally I don't necessarily agree with lack of motor part. I feel the same way about Moultrie from what I saw I actually watched Mississippi State games, because I do live in an SEC region and his name popping up in the mock draft polls. He can be pretty good NBA player as well. Wasn't lacking motor or effort from eyes, but again I didn't watch all of their games, to be fair. Moreover, I've heard those criticism of him from some critics, but others have said that it's questionable. I'll even put money on it that he's starting full time by the end of the season. He will suit that roll better than Hawes, while he's more talented than Allen. They were going to be in salary cap peril, if they held onto Brand at the price he was at $17 million. He's not worth that much, while Andrew Bynum more than makes up for that value. I do agree, the personalities may not fit well together. At the same time, alot of these players did go deep into the playoffs, last season It is a wait in see kind of thing, but one talent alone this team could easily capture the last spot.
indeed. and that's why he fell from top 3 projections early in that year to top 10 in early spring to #20 in the end. but unlike Moultrie, he never criticized his teammates. That's my far bigger issue; Granger is on and off, and he's a good player. But to be so unaware of himself and criticize teammates for the very things he himself isn't exactly known for... that's immaturity in the best case or potential headcase in the worst. and unlike Moultrie, Motiejunas has since worked to turn those things -- or perception -- around. If he entered the draft after his Poland year, I bet he would go higher. I don't know about top 10, since the draft was stronger in 2012, but higher than 20. after he fell, maybe it's indeed unfair to call him overrated anymore. but where he was projected at times, yuck. They have Thadeus Young, he should be the long term starter now. Hawes will not play a minute at PF, i'd be stunned. The question will be who gets PF minutes. Do they go with Allen, Moultrie, or maybe go small and play Dorell Wright at backup 4 like he did for the Warriors. I think in the end, all 3 will share those minutes, but I'm not very optimistic about either scenario. that's the thing though. they amnestied 16 mil and then they spent 13 mil on Nick Young, Dorell Wright and Kwame. Now that they have Jason Richardson and Bynum, neither of those 3 is that much necessary. Brand would be more of a need. On top of it, Brand would expire after this year. While Kwame will still count for 3 mil next year. They should've done nothing until this trade, basically. Keep Brand. Resign Lou Williams and Hawes. And then do the Bynum trade. That team would be very well built. But obviously, they had no idea Bynum would be available to them.
