I've got to give joaptmc props for still showing his face despite being horrendously, embarrassingly wrong about everything.

    Respect.

    jopatmc hasnt gone anywhere.

Also, I know u side-stepped the request but where is the proof that you've bought season tickets to watch this team? I would have had mine yesterday if it went down the way it should have. Its gonna be fun to see an empty arena again this season.

You're a bit of a jerk, rubbing this in. You're the same guy who said T-Rob deserved to be the #1 pick and that Jeffery Taylor was going to be a lottery pick. Give the guy a break, at least he was right about Houston having the CAPABILITY of beating any offer outside of the Clippers & Thunder. All you do is throw out unfounded BS that nobody really wants to read, whereas jopa and the majority of the CF were actually using facts as their basis.

In summary... Orlando got robbed, L.A. got scary, and H-town gets the blue balls once again :(

I'm happy to see the young guys grow and build together. Hopefully we can trade Martin for an unprotected pick in 2014 (I know, wishfull thinking). I think the future looks good for a quick rebuild in the next couple of years. Much better than the last couple of years. I hope there are no trades for mediocre players to get a few more wins this year.

You musta missed all the fun prior to the trade.....

If you were against the move and voiced it, you were pariah or troll status....

If Dwight would have come to Houston, they would do the saaaame thing.

    It's all in fun.

Turtles tucked their heads back in that shell for now.

It is funny to see all that "know-it-all" energy get popped like a balloon.

    A quick pop.

    Amen!

Just let them take their lumps and rid the roster of KMart by the deadline to give Lamb starters minutes second half of the season.

Wait a minute. They aren't jerks for calling anyone who was against the Howard trade a troll??
You know what? You are probably still hurt by what has gone down recently.
It's cool. I was just getting a few jabs in. I wasn't gonna mess around for long. There are more important things to get to now. Like the rookies.

This trade just blows my mind. I thought that all NBA ownership/management had to possess a certain level of intelligence. I guess not.

First, the Lakers took away your last big man and left you crappy for almost an entire decade. Just for that reason alone you should want nothing to do with them.

Second, the other deals on the table were incredibly better, gave you more draft picks, and took more crappy contracts away from your balance sheet. It just doesn't add up.

I feel like this is a scene from The Waterboy. The magic are "Mr. Coach Klein" and the lakers are the scary coach from LSU. Just god awful trade and words cannot describe the inner disgust I have for the teams involved and the NBA in general right now.

What happened to all that bravado?

"We don't need to give up that much" "There's no place else for them to go"

    "Just wait them out"

    "They don't have any choice"

"Sooner or later they'll have to accept our offer".

    Preposterous nonsense.

When you want something to happen it is easy to convince yourself that it is possible. That is human nature. It is what it is, I am cool with watching the young guys play.

This is actually what usually happens when people are so damn sure of themselves. It blows up entirely in their faces.

+1. Many of us were applying logic and reason to the situation. The reality is in some situations there is none.

The Rox clearly had a better offer, but the Magic went another / wrong way.

    Let's move on.

Psssst... has anyway called the Jazz about the availability of Jefferson?
