watching espn countdown, due to dish latino wanting to charge me 9$ for nfl net.. anyways saw a segment called..." C'mon Man." Who originated this? I thought it was Neon? Espn taking credit? really excited to see the first quarters of all those games. =)
Anyone actually see RG3 play? His stats are good but how did he actually look? Peyton Manning was OK. Even though he marched them down the field on the opening drive, a couple of passes were tipped because he threw behind receivers. The 2nd one was picked off at about the 5-yard line.
Shocker! Ha, nah X-Rays came back negative on his L thumb. Steelers FB/TE David Johnson injured, along with rookie OT Mike Adams. Packers LB Desmond Bishop(knee), Eagles DT Cullen Jenkins & another shocker, Ryan Mathews for SD(!). Meanwhile, Julio Jones impressive(6 catches 109 yds 1 TD in the 1st Q)
Completely agree. Manning was smiling coming off the field but the praise he got from teammates and some media doesn't make any sense based on his throws.
Have to expect some level of rust. I'm fairly confident he will still be a top 10 QB this year, but I think anyone expecting 2006 Peyton can forget about it.
He hasn't been in an NFL game, since January of 2011 . . . a year and seven months. He's going to be a little rusty and everything is not going to be finely tuned right off the bat. Still, I trust his arm more so than ... *cough* Tebow's *cough*
