Bynum Hawes Dorrell Wright Evan Turner Holliday Bench Kwame, Lavoy Allen, Thad Young, Sam Young, Nick Young Coach: Doug Collins
Solid young team that's improving. They won't win the championship year, but there good enough to compete for a 3 or 4 seed with the Celtics and Pacers. They've got a great bench too.
He will bring this team over the top. With him, the Sixers went from 8th seed to 1st and possibly will win the title.
this is a really exciting team if everyone stays healthy. i feel they can really make a run in the East, looking forward to what they can do in the east
Keeping Brand would have been a good idea... hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. They need a power forward and a backup point guard- but those types of players are plentiful in the league.
Lavoy Allen can play PF well and Thad Young can slide over to the 4 too. I think they have Tony Battie too Nice solid team but I'd be shocked if they're even .500. They'll still make the playoffs tho
Meh.. may make some noise in the mediocre east... Really don't think they are anything special unless Holiday and/or Turner make significant improvement and Bynum stays healthy and continues to mature... While all of that is possible, it is a lot of "ifs", and that doesn't even take into account Holiday's upcoming free agency and demand for maximum money.
They are easily over .500 unless Bynum is injured for most of the season. They are a bit better than last year.
They'll be better than 500, but not much. They're playing against teams like the Raptors, Bobcats, and Magic on a regular basis. Losing Williams and Iguoldala hurts- but Bynum is a nice addition. I think 4th seed at most, but probably closer to 6th seed, they'll probably lose in 7 games in a hard fought series against the Pacers or Nets.
Very solid. Better than last year. Might be two more years away from competing still. Maybe only 1 depending on how this roster develops in the future. Still, I like that young talent with size. Playoff team. Good fit for Bynum. Solid core to add others to.
Spencer Hawes can fill the 4 admirably. He played the 5 and played it well last year before his injury. It was when he was hurt that Philly went that slide. They were top 3 in the East before that. Him and Bynum is a nice combo.
I don't know about a hawes and bynum front court, i mean bynum is a great defensive player but isn't really the best athlete. Hawes isn't even a good athlete at the 5, never less the 4. They should put young aside him instead, that would be interesting.
