    I think it's gonna be Miami again because the lakers don't have any young or fast players which means wade,Lebron,chalmers could out run the whole LA starting 5 imo

    Perkins would actually have someone to guard, in Howard, then being a complete zero on both ends of the floor against Miami.

    We don't even need to play the season imo. Just go straight to the finals.

    Really hope it is LA.

    Nash deserves it and I can't stand Miami.

    unless the heat get a viable option at center, the lakers are going to roll them

    they could easily replace Ron Artest... he is a non factor on O and nowadays partly on D

    LA could use another strong wing defender. The Celtics added Lee. The Lakers should look for someone along those lines. Aside from that all they need is health. But in reality - Wade could go down just as easily as Nash or Howard. Also, I wouldn't count out the Thunder, they would matchup well with LA and have the youth factor which can often prove to be overwhelming.

    I'd still say the Heat are the favorites.

    I honestly never would have thought there was a team that I would root against if they played Miami.

    After this fiasco I can only hope Kobe never wins another one, though.

    Miami has Lebron James, a Lebron James who has finally overcome the hurdle of winning a championship. Their supporting cast will be even better with some nice picksups.

    L.A. has a couple of aging superstars and Dwight Howrad coming off a back surgery. Their bench is as bad as it has been last year.

    Advantage: the Heat.

    LerBon thinks the Lakers' get together is cute.

    ...and he's probably a better pupil for Hakeem than Dwight.

    This is how I see the NBA shaping up this season. Lakers and Heat are favorites, but these teams also compete.

    East:
    1) Heat: After winning the NBA Finals there's no reason the Heat should digress from last year
    2) Celtics: Dark horse team still around and capable of making a big run.
    3) Indiana: Are in good shape for the future with a young core of Granger, Hibbert, and George
    4) 76ers young and improving team

    West:
    1) Lakers: Have best center in league, best shooting guard, top 5 power forward, and the best pass-first pg in the league.
    2) Thunder: Will still compete with Lakers with the big 3 of their own
    3) Spurs: The Spurs window may be closing fast, or closed entirely, but the wily vets are still around and don't want to be forgotten.

    Chamionship: Lakers defeat the Heat 4-3

    Heat have a pretty crappy bench too

    Nash > Chalmers
    Kobe = Wade
    Artest <<<<<<<<<< James
    Pau Gasol = Bosh
    Dwight >>>> Who the hell plays center for the heat? :)

    Bench
    Jaminson = Allen

    It's going to be epic..

    Can't forget about Battier/Miller. Heat should be dropping a ton of threes next year.
