*IF* the Dwight/LA trade is legit, what's Morey's plan B?

If any of those players become elite-level stars, they'll find a way to force their way out and join NY/LA/Miami/Chicago. And if not, we'll become Denver South. Yay.

This sums up the whole saga.

If you remember I was convinced D12 will end up as a Laker one way or another, and without knowing the details of the new CBA, I was pulling my hair out on how Lakers were gonna accomplish this.

It happened so easy and fast. This is exactly what i had originally expected, D12 ended up with either Lakers or Nets.

When we get to a championship again, I hope it's through LA and Orlando

I think Jeremy Lin and the rookies are plan B.

Exactly. Coach you and I agree on many things. Time for the Rockets and Morey to pull up their sleeves. Now the real GM work is gonna be done. Rebuilding is how its done right once you lose two Superstars. Some would argue they have not done so until this year.

We are already on plan B. Our core is very young and we are not going to win many games next season and will get a high pick.

Now we just need to dump Martin and Give Lamb the starting SG spot.

Let the young guys play. They will be a fun and exciting team. There will be a lot of lumps and challenges but it is a unique opportunity to watch young prospects grow.

The young peeps are finally gonna have their chance. It'll be months of losing basketball and it will be interesting to see which posters stick around. I think this the first time in a very long time where the rockets will probably have a 30 or less season.

Aside from not paying him next season and guaranteeing that we have no one with consistent double digit scoring besides Martin, yes.

Pray for tanking and I never thought I would say that.

Unfortunately Morey makes it sound like Martin is staying... so this team gets to be mediocre again. Very much doubt a single on of our players morphs into a superstar, and we're not going to be picking in the top five.

Seems like a strong possibility the Rockets are going to be mediocre for more than 5 years.

No that would be plan Morey. Its time to stop off loading the blame on others. Its Morey. Own up to it and own it completely now. All 30 wins of it. If we get the 14th pick because he kept Kevin Martin around again too long? Then that all Morey again. All on Morey. Remember Tmacs words? Well now its all on Morey.

I agree with you about Howard's refusal to consider playing for Houston was a prime factor in this turn of events. However, don't blame David Stern for this sucky situation. For that the finger of blame has to reset squarely on LeBron, Bosh & Wade.
