Now you’re just Obama that I used to know <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yJnAp3YxCCw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It is stunning how much Obama has diminished the office of the President with his actions. This negative smear campaign that he is running is a stark contrast to the hope and change that was promised. Shameful.
A question for the 2008 Obama voters (assuming there are some left): Do you think that Obama has delivered on his promise of hope?
After Dubya who can't even show up to the Convention? lol for real. I am sort of glad to have Jorge back for the laughs.
Fox News poll: Obama's lead grows as Romney's support slips By Dana Blanton Published August 10, 2012 | FoxNews.com Mitt Romney has had a tough couple of weeks on the campaign trail -- and it shows in the latest Fox News poll. After a barrage of campaign ads, negative news coverage of his overseas trip and ongoing talk about his tax returns, Romney’s favorable rating and standing in the trial ballot have declined. As a result, President Obama has opened his biggest lead since Romney became the presumptive Republican nominee. The president would take 49 percent of the vote compared to Romney's 40 percent in a head-to-head matchup if the election were held today, the poll found. Last month, Obama had a four percentage-point edge of 45 percent to 41 percent. This marks the second time this year the president has had a lead outside the poll’s margin of sampling error. Obama’s advantage comes largely from increased support among independents, who now pick him over Romney by 11 percentage points. Some 30 percent of independents are undecided. Last month, Obama had a four-point edge among independents, while Romney had the advantage from April through early June. There was also an uptick in support for Obama among women, blacks and Democrats. ......... URL http://www.foxnews.comhttp://www.fo...oll-obama-lead-grows-as-romney-support-slips/
Yes he has. I had hoped he wouldn't be as ignorant and asinine as his predecessor, and my hope has come true.
The Fox Poll cited above, conducted by Opinion Dynamics, oversamples Dems by 9% and looks at registered voters (instead of likely voters). You may as well toss out the results. Not relevant at all, and here's why: In 2008, arguably peak conditions for Democrats, Dem voters had a 7% edge over Republican voters. This year I would expect Dems/Republicans to be evenly split and independents to round out the vote. Something like 35/35/30. So that's one big change from 2008. The other big change is voter enthusiasm, which is strongly in the Republicans camp (after 4 years of incompetent buffoonery by BrokeB'ckObama) this time as compared to being strongly in the Dems camp in 2008. Then you have Voter ID, which safeguards the integrity of the voting process and keeps dead people, felons, and those ineligible to vote out of the voting booth. Put it all together and you are looking at a much different atmosphere than 2008. Based on my sources, if Romney is within 2% points in the battleground state polling of likely voters (balanced polling, not polls that oversample Dems), then the election is his mainly based on voter enthusiasm. The ground game is a wash -- Republicans routed Democrats in the 2010 midterms, and the Republican primary (which the Dems didn't have) has provided valuable intel for voting trends and other microanalysis. There you go -- far more information than you libs deserve. I should send you all an invoice -- my time is not cheap.
yes Fought off a depression with bold moves Killed Osama Passed the first meaningful healthcare legislation Soft played Libiya, Egypt and Syria Didn't start an unfunded war Hasn't wilted in the face of a national propaganda assault That's a good start
Don't forget - he also made appearances in Europe without pissing off our oldest allies; avoiding headlines in the local papers ridiculing him for his ignorance and lack of tact! Not bad!
I gotta say D&D has improved since you returned. Keep it up! TJ, so far you've managed to be funny and entertaining without completely hijacking legit discussion.
Thank you kindly for the nice words. Even The_Conquistador, a gallant man of the highest self confidence, appreciates receiving honor and recognition for a job well done. I have been pounding the forum with truth, knowledge, and insight for a few weeks now and have delivered intelligence and understanding to the unwashed, uninformed masses here.
Don't worry my man. You keep reading those biased polls. You keep dreaming the Republican attempts to suppress voter turnout will work and not fire up Dems even more, you keep dreaming that Republicans are going to line up to elect that plastic doll into office.... the rest of us will enjoy laughing at you.
