Uh yeah you're being really generous

Martin, Parsons, Jones, Raptors pick is a lot better than what Orlando is supposedly getting

What happened in 2004? The Lakers went to the Finals and Malone got injured and they had Slava Medvedenko against Rasheed Wallace. That's what happened.

Don't expect them to implode. They had Shaq and Kobe going at it in 2004 and Kobe had the rape case ongoing. Went to the Finals, backdoor swept the Spurs and likely would've beaten Detroit with Malone healthy. Even if they would've lost to Detroit, is Miami or OK as good as the 2004 Pistons?

Philly got a whole lot better by adding Richardson and Bynum.

Lakers have Nash, Kobe, Gasol, Howard. Artest is the only weak link.

Denver have too many forwards and no SGs. AI, Brewer, Galo, Chandler.

All Orlando get is Affalo, Vuvevic and Harkless with no lottery picks. And they just made every team better. So the picks coming their way wont be all that good.

We stay out of the $h!tstorm. A+

Let's not be homers neither, Afflalo is a very sound role player, say Parsons. Vucevic is a good young prospect, and Harkless was a higher pick than Jones. I still prefer Jones, but just saying, let's be realistic.

If I'm Hennigan I still prefer a Rockets pack like mentioned, but it's not THAT bad.

Obviously the biggest difference is the lottery pick, much more value than those 3 picks.

    Denver is brilliantly balanced.

    Lawson
    Iggy
    Gallinari
    Fairied
    McGee

Looks like the Magic went out of their way not to deal with because we could offer somethin very similar, without improving the sixers and starting yet another dynasty in LA.

Almost seems like someone is out to get us.

I wonder if the poison pill contracts have blacklisted us in terms of teams and GMs. I wouldnt be surprised if thats the reason.

Yea, I'm really sure the rest of the Smaller market GMs are super butthurt because Morey put two of the biggest franchises in a position to pay an additional tax. A tax, which if I remember correctly, would actually put money in the pockets of every other franchise.

The players' union fought for that structure within the CBA. If anyone's to "blame", it would be them.

I wish I could quit the NBA. Really do. Tried last year, but love the root sport and the Rockets too much. Two years in a row - one big deal is completed but vetoed by the league office, one big deal is near completion but doesn't get done because Orlando is apparently run by incomprehensibly stupid idiots and prefers to accept the worst trade in sports history. Meanwhile, things fall in Mitch Kupchak's lap.

What's the point in trying anymore?

I'm quitting the NBA. Why? Basketball reasons.

Agree. No point of watching anymore when everything's so scripted.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one. My interest has been dwindling every year. I went to one game last season as opposed to like 12 the year before. The ones that lose from this trade are the real NBA fans.

coachbadlee will buy season tickets though

I'll believe it when I see it.

The difference between the NBA and WWE are becoming increasingly minimal.

Just realsied they dumped Harrington too. What a deal for Denver.

Orlando now have Harrington and Hedo. Neslon and Redick are garbage too. Brilliant work.

I'm happy today. For me, It would have taken some of the fun out of being a Rockets fan if we had traded for Howard. It's fun to win, but I have come to really dislike Howard, so I'm happy he is going elsewhere. I'm prepared for the losing and rebuilding the Rockets are about to go through, and I'm OK with that.

Next year's draft will suck. Especially when Orlando is guaranteed the number one picl.

It is bad Afflalo is over paid and as pointed out by Hollinger, arguably has negative value based on the contract. Vucevic is a back up center and Orlando took back Harrington and his contract. Just a bad deal.

You are too good of a poster to quit. We need to get over this quickly, and try to start getting excited about the "yuts". They have some potential here and it may be that we may need to manufacture our own stars.

Afflalo is being paid $30M to be a roleplayer over the next few years, Parsons is being paid like 1/10 of that

Vucevic is a future roleplayer, very limited ceiling

Jones has increased his stock beyond Harkless

Also, the Rockets would be taking back bad contracts WITHOUT RETURNING THEM, and would be offering a guaranteed lotto pick

And that's a lowball offer from us. When our lowball offer crushes what they wound up receiving you have to wonder what is going on in their thick heads

Off course the biggest winner are the lakers

but for DEN was great too, turn Afflalo and harrington's salarie for Iggy is great

PHI get Bynum but they pay big. 2 great young players plus Iggy is a big price for a rental. Why didn't they trade for Howard without the Lakers?????????

And for ORL they wanted young players and cap relief (and they take Harrington' contract???????????)
Vucevic and MH are ok but NJ offer was >>>>>> better
