For fantasy purposes, RGIII doesn't have the receiver Cam has, and his running ability is different. Cam could be counted on to take it in from the 2 where I doubt RGIII will. He might get similar rushing yards in the boot but no where near the TD's because of Cam's 2 yard runs.

if you are penciling him in for 16 games, over 3 rushing tds is a lock.

The reason Cam wasn't as hyped up because many people didn't think his game would translate well to the NFL.

Well , why doesn't Andrew "Greatest QB prospect in the last 25years" Luck get the same media blitz treatment?

Some people even said he couldn't throw and was another Tebow, though without the same charm and charisma.

Cam looks like he has down syndrome. Not making fun of DS but wanted to chime in on the Cam appearance talk.

I watched the game live. My favorite part of it was when the Bills picked up a dead ball like it was a fumble and the guy was running it in to the endzone... RGIII tries to make a diving tackle.

At first I was thinking OMG don't get hurt doing something like that! However, in the press conference, Shanahan said that if he had a QB that didn't try to make a touchdown-saving tackle and ran the other way then that QB is not for him. Good point.

I have a man crush on this kid. He's going to be a top 5 quarterback in the league for sure and going to make Andrew Luck look like Sam Bowie.

I know its kind of early to say, but if thats his first 6 throws in the NFL, there is a LOT to like. In that clip he looked like Aaron Rodgers... literrally

My main concerns with Griffin are:

    1) He seemed to live on the deep ball in college. Cornerbacks don't get beat so easily deep in the NFL, even if you're good enough to scramble around and buy your receivers more time.

    2) His intermediate and short game is suspect. He throws bullets with zero touch or arc to them. That's not going to fly against most defenses.

    3) This is kinda nit-picky, but he seems really skinny. Like, dangerously lanky for somebody who might have 300lbs guys falling on top of him on a regular basis. I'd seriously be worried about injuries.

It's going to be interesting to see if Shannahan lets him run any, because his QBs typically don't and are limited to bootlegs at best. I hope he doesn't let him run, because it will accelerate his growth as a passer, although it will rob of us of some awesome highlights. I think he's going to be a turnover machine either way, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, high risk means high reward.

I like Griffin, but all of those throws in the highlights were spread-offense type throws where you are hitting a receiver that is stationary or hitting a running back coming out of the backfield. Those are easy throws against a zone defense. I want to see him hit a receiver in stride against man coverage -- that's often the biggest question mark for a QB coming out of a spread offense in college. It requires great accuracy and arm strength.

This is the play that put him ahead in the Heisman race near the end. The fact it was a game-winner against a much superior team late in the season doesn't hurt. Arm-strength definitely won't be an issue with RG3 in the NFL. We'll see about accuracy.

This was the moment I realized Andrew Luck might lose the Heisman to RG3, who I didn't take seriously as a candidate.

If he let Elway run, why wouldn't he let Griffin?

You sir are r****ded. You are probably one of those people that said Ryan Leaf was better than Peyton Manning. Top 5 QB in the league for sure after one partial pre season game... Really ? I would like to get a hold of whatever you are smoking. The great VY was offensive rookie of the year and look where he is today.

The difference with RG3 is that he has intelligence and the work ethic in addition to his talent-- VY had neither. He'll be a top 5 QB sooner rather than later.
