I don't think any promises were made, but all of this seems like a joke.

Happy. There have been very few super stars that I want on our team--D12 was not one of them. I'll be happy to see us develop the young guys.

Time to pray for the .0000000000001% chance of Paul and Howard agreeing to take less money to play for the Rockets next year.

many years ago, I worked as a manager of a software store here in Houston. One of the other managers of one of the other locations had the last name of 'Druzbik'.

That young man was reasonably intelligent, but he had a habit of always somehow pulling the stupidest, most bone-headed mistakes, and it happened all the time.

It got to the point where if any manager in any of the stores made some kind of stupid mistake, they were said to have 'pulled a Druzbik'.

This guy Hennigan now officially takes over that mantle.

'To Pull a Hennigan': To not only make a terrible mistake, but to make it in the most painfully long and drawn out manner possible, making sure to be on the main center stage when it happens, so every eye can watch you when your pants accidentally fall down and reveal to the world you are wearing little-girls' My Little Pony underwear.

Nothing to see here folks. Our roster is not affected by this, and what do we care who will be winning NBA championships the next two years? We have always know from the beginning that if you aren't the Lakers or Celtics then you have to contend the hard way. That means homegrown talent, that means drafting your own superstars.

Let's move on and leave this BS in the nonGARM threads.

good will with agents is more important than slightly better trade assets, that's the reality of the nba today, the only thing holding it back from being a completely premier leagueish "top teams" and "feeder teams" scenario is the odd team with a run of lucky draft picks (see okc)

    So......

    Courtney Lee
    Trevor Ariza
Some project center who didn't do much his rookie year.
    Bad contract.
    Crap picks.

    Seriously?
