Whoa whoa whoa. Ken Berger actually said Orlando would only get vucevic and afflalo? Holy **** that's somehow worse than pau and afflalo.

    Incredible.

    DING DING DING DING

When a trade is on it's last legs expect the desperate party to try and get it done through the grape-vine.

Three teams want this deal, but Orlando is just exploring options. They don't have much else to do.

Screaming A Smith is a CAA mouth piece/paid shill.

He's usually right when it comes to these matters.

I cant see this happening. It's too lopsided for the mediators. The Magic wont be able to unload the contracts that they want to, or get the talent they need. All this trade does is end the Dwight saga for Orlando.

How? I hope he's not implying we'd be trading for Gasol.

"Doesn't make sense for Lakers, ditto for Magic."

Would trading our team away to rent a jerk for a year make sense? No, but Morey might just try.

Dwight to the Lakers is star power, pure and simple.

Pau and Affalo to the Magic lets them win a couple more years before they shed all those contracts.

He thinks Morey is after Pau Gasol now.

If the Magic get Pau, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play a single game for them. Teams with younger/cheaper assets may want him.

EXACTLY. RT @2rollz: @shighkinNBA (response to above tweet):AKA the Rockets.

    Sean Highkin ‏@shighkinNBA
Daryl would probably be willing to give up 75 percent of the picks/prospects he had on the table for Dwight for Pau.

    Sean Highkin ‏@shighkinNBA
So Orlando could potentially come out of this with Afflalo/Vucci Mane/some combo of White/Lamb/Jones/Parsons and a bunch of Houston picks.

    Sean Highkin ‏@shighkinNBA
I still don't think this happens. I'm not convinced the Lakers even make themselves better if they have to give up Bynum and Pau for him.

    Sean Highkin ‏@shighkinNBA
    @slamkeogh Daryl's wanted Pau forever.[/rquoter]

David Aldridge said NY would match Lin.

Stephen A Smith is wrong again.

this is above henigan's pay grade.

This has david stern & his inner circle cronies written all over it.

The NEW WORLD ORDER might not be real, but David Stern's Illuminati is.

Morey wanted Pau...a year ago. When we were going to pair him with a healthy Nene and a young stud in Lowry.

These guys' info is so out of date sometimes.

So, if the Lakers get Howard while still retaining Gasol, wouldn't that be grounds for Stern stepping in? Right?

Basketball reasons and all that jazz?

    Amazing ain't it?

Well the Rockets had interest in him last year so they must still be interested this year!

Yeah, too bad he disassembled the roster of all veterans already. Now he's gonna trade for Gasol?
